Chapter 8

After spending half an hour, Cheng Wen finally understood that some of the wrapped things were not food.

Cheng Wen nodded and looked at the fat man.

The fat man and the thin man didn't dare to run away.

The thin man just saw that in an instant, the man named Su Yi strangled the nearby zombies.

"There is a vacant lot to the west," Cheng Wen pointed to the west.

Before the fat man and the thin man could react, they saw Cheng Wen walk up and pat the wooden box. They suddenly felt a little relieved, and then saw Cheng Wen looking at them expressionlessly. They began to feel a little scared. Although the man in front of them was good-looking, and there were many people with strange eyes and hair in the apocalypse, why did they feel weak in the knees when they were looked at by these green eyes?

"Big... Big brother..." The fat man felt his hair stand on end. Just as he shouted, he saw the man in front of him grinning sinisterly at him. The fat man was instantly frightened and burst into tears, "嘤——"

Cheng Wen looked at the two strange people in front of him and just smiled friendly. Why did these two people seem so afraid of him? Although he was a zombie, he didn't eat people.

Unable to figure it out, he simply pulled Su Yi towards the cemetery. He suddenly wanted to see the outside world.

Thinking of the ashes in the wooden box and the souls following the fat man and the thin man, he thought of a person. He wondered if she had woken up.

The fat man and the thin man went to the open space in the west, while Su Yi was pulled back to the cemetery by Cheng Wen.

Cheng Wen held his hand and walked back. The little ancestor had long fingers, fair skin, and was very thin.

Hold it gently in your small hands.

Cheng Wen felt it and was a little confused. Why was Su Yi still afraid of the dark at such an old age?

They had arrived at the tunnel leading to the cemetery. The lamp oil in the tunnel had just burned out today, so it was dark.

"Su Yi, pack up your things, let's go out."

Su Yi's expression changed, "Ancestor, is there anything wrong with being here?"

"No, I just want to go out and take a look." Cheng Wen glanced at Su Yi, "Go pack your bags."

After saying that, Cheng Wen sat down on a chair in the small corner and secretly ate the chocolate he had snatched from the fat man.

First go to one place to eat, then go to another place to eat, and then go to another place to eat. Su Yi doesn’t have a big appetite, so just leave him a small half, and he can eat the rest, emmmm... Or maybe just leave him a small half. By the way, I also have to look for some evolved bodies.

Cheng Wen was planning to go out, but didn't notice Su Yi's expression.

The hearts of people in the last days are very dirty. Even a child can eat human flesh in order to survive. There are also supernatural beasts and mutated plants outside, and there are dangers everywhere.

He thought about letting the little ancestor stay in his space, but when the little ancestor found out, he slapped him directly. His little ancestor valued freedom very much.

However, after listening to Cheng Wen's inner voice, he suddenly felt that going out was not a bad thing. As long as he stayed by Cheng Wen's side at all times, he could avoid danger.

Su Yi quickly calmed down. They didn't have much stuff and had plenty of space so they packed up quickly. After they finished packing, Cheng Wen still had half a piece of chocolate left.

Cheng Wen took a bite and fed the rest directly to Su Yi. Su Yi had done a lot of work today, so he didn't mind giving him some food as a reward.

Su Yi chewed the chocolate. He didn't like sweet food. Too sweet things would even make him feel nauseous, but this piece of chocolate seemed quite delicious.

Cheng Wen stretched himself, and the python slowly crawled down the passage, lowered its head towards Cheng Wen, and said, "Hiss—hiss—"

"Really?" Cheng Wen patted the python's head gently. "Then you go over there and take a look. We'll meet up then."

The python nodded, looked at Su Yi and spit out its snake core as a greeting, then left.

Su Yi had already made the bed. Cheng Wen yawned. He had consumed a lot of energy and was quite sleepy. It was almost eight o'clock in the evening, but it was time for him to rest.

Cheng Wen lay on the bed and snuggled into Su Yi's arms as usual. The weather was getting colder, and Cheng Wen fell asleep quickly while hugging the source of warmth.

Su Yi touched Cheng Wen's scattered long hair and thought about his future itinerary.
