Chapter 199: National Justice Arouses the Bandits

When Asu Miaozhao heard that Zhang Xiaohu, the second in command of Heiya Mountain, had surrendered, it was truly a blessing from heaven.

Black Cliff Mountain has always been a major concern for the Jin people.

Bandits often harassed the Jin people under the guise of robbing the rich to help the poor. They would do anything, such as kidnapping, beating with clubs, and robbing the wealthy.

These bandits were numerous, and the Jin army's repeated attempts to encircle and suppress them were unsuccessful.

There was only one path leading up to Black Cliff Mountain, and the rocky terrain behind it made climbing difficult. Apart from Wang Shan and a few other leaders, no one knew there was a path further up the mountain.

Wang Xiaohu told Asu Miaozhao about this path. At this moment, Asu Miaozhao led hundreds of people along this path and quietly climbed to the top of Black Cliff Mountain.

Wang Shan's thousand-plus brothers were still on the mountain, and Yao Tiezhu, the sixth in command, had led his men to slaughter cattle and sheep. Today was Wang Shan's mother's seventieth birthday, and the mountain was filled with joy.

"Everyone, pay the fuck up. Today is the old lady's 70th birthday. If it weren't for that bastard Zhang Xiaohu, the second son, who plotted against the boss, this birthday party would have been the most lively one in Heiya Mountain." Yao Tiezhu stepped on the table and knocked on it with the handle of the knife.

"Sixth Boss, the big boss has already taken people to chase Zhang Xiaohu. He can't escape." Someone shouted.

Yao Tiezhu nodded and said, "Well, let's use Zhang Xiaohu's head as a sacrifice for the old lady's birthday."

"Good! Good! Good!" the bandits howled.

"Sixth Brother, what are you yelling about again?" A white-haired old man came out with a cane.

Everyone hurriedly lowered their heads. Yao Tiezhu came forward and supported the old woman: "Madam, why did you come out?"

This person was Wang Shan's mother, Mao Sanniang. Mao Sanniang was over seventy years old, but still full of energy.

The Heiya Mountain stronghold was decorated with lanterns and colorful decorations. A large character for "longevity" hung in the main hall. In the middle stood a throne with a tiger skin placed on it.

Yao Tiezhu helped Mao Sanniang onto the armchair. Mao Sanniang pounded the ground with her cane. "That Zhang Xiaohu has evil intentions. I warned Shan'er a long time ago, but he wouldn't listen. Now that he's suffered such a great loss, it's time to remind you all that in Black Cliff Mountain, righteousness comes first. Don't get involved with villains."

"The old lady is right. The boss will definitely kill Zhang Xiaohu to clean up the mess."

"Sixth Master, something bad has happened! There are gold thieves in the back mountain!" A bandit rushed in in a panic and just finished speaking. With a "whoosh", the bandit was shot in the chest and fell to the ground.

The Jin people came so quickly, and arrows were flying like locusts outside the Heiya Mountain stronghold.

Yao Tiezhu was shocked: "Protect the old lady, everyone follow me!" Then he rushed out with a big knife in hand.

Several bandits protected Mao Sanniang, while the others pulled out machetes from under the table and rushed out.

The bandits outside had already been cleared out by Asu's clever tricks. Countless corpses were lying all over the stronghold, and hundreds of Jin soldiers surrounded the stronghold.

Yao Tiezhu and more than 200 people were outside the village dodging the Jin army's arrows, and bandits were constantly shot and killed.

The bandits were actually just a mob, relying on the natural barrier of Black Cliff Mountain to hold off the enemy. In a head-on collision, these people would be no match for the well-trained Jin soldiers.

The Jin army archers fired arrows at random, and Yao Tiezhu rushed forward several times but was repelled every time.

The Jin soldiers' archers were powerful and had already rushed to the front of the village gate. Asu Miaozhao smiled and said, "Put down your weapons and surrender quickly!"

Yao Tiezhu was furious: "Golden Dog! Prepare to die!" He raised his knife and rushed forward.

A group of Jin soldiers fought with the bandits in the village. Yao Tiezhu swung his sword at Asu Miaozhao, but Asu Miaozhao dodged and pulled out his sword, chopping off Yao Tiezhu's arm.

"Ah!" Yao Tiezhu screamed and blood gushed out immediately. Several Jin soldiers put long knives on his neck.

Mao Sanniang had just run to the back hall under the escort of several bandits when seven or eight Jin soldiers rushed towards her.

These bandits were killed by the Jin soldiers after just a few rounds of fighting.

Wang Shan's 500-plus men began to charge up the mountain, leaving countless bandit corpses on either side. It was obvious that this was the work of the Jin people, and everyone was horrified.

The stronghold was surrounded by rocks on three sides. When everyone was almost at the foot of the stronghold, Zong Ze said, "Everyone, slow down and split into two groups."

Wang Shan was puzzled: "Why?"

Zong Ze pointed at the stronghold and said, "Judging from the bodies of our brothers along the way, the Jin bandits have already occupied the stronghold. Look at the terrain here. If we attack from the front, you won't be able to make it even with 500 people, let alone 5,000."

The mob of bandits was immediately at a loss. Zong Ze pointed at them and said, "Leave twenty of you behind. The rest retreat to the sides of the road and hide. Don't let them be discovered!"

Everyone was panicked and didn't know what to do. Wang Shan waved his hand and said, "Listen to him." So everyone obeyed Zong Ze's order, leaving only more than 20 people to go to the mountain stronghold, and the rest ambushed on both sides of the road.

When they arrived at the village, they found that hundreds of Jin soldiers had already occupied the village. Corpses were everywhere, with nearly a thousand bodies lying around the village.

Wang Shan's eyes were filled with hatred, and the bandits under his command were even more shocked and angry.

Asu Miaozhao and his men looked down at Wang Shan and the others: "Wang Shan, put down your weapons and surrender immediately!"

Wang Shan was furious and pointed at them and shouted, "Golden Dog, I, Wang Shan, will never coexist with you!"

Asu Miaozhao was not afraid of his shouting. He sneered and waved his hand. The Jin soldiers nearby carried several prisoners.

"Mom!" Wang Shan shouted. It was Mao Sanniang, Yao Tiezhu and others who were captured by the Jin soldiers.

Mao Sanniang struggled a few times: "Shan'er, don't worry about me. Come down the mountain quickly! Avenge your mother!"

"Brother! I am incompetent and failed to protect the old lady." Yao Tiezhu shouted, his voice choked with sobs.
