Wuleqi bowed and left, and when he arrived outside the Xiongzhou County Office, he saw that the office was completely silent, without a single sound.
Like Zhuotuo and the others, Wuleqi crouched down in the corner and peered in. The yard was completely silent except for a dead dog. He retracted his neck and climbed over the wall to get inside.
Wuleqi tiptoed to the backyard and found the door wide open, indicating that someone had been there.
Wuleqi looked around and tiptoed inside. By the moonlight outside the window, he saw a man lying in the tent. He opened the tent and saw Zhan Yunpeng, his eyes wide open, his face agape. Blood still stained the corners of his mouth, and a dagger, the very one Shi Dunzhu had used, lodged in his chest. He sniffed and found he was dead.
Oleqi was startled. He felt it was not a good place to stay for long, so he quickly climbed over the wall and fled.
After returning to the Jin Dynasty's market office, Shuhu Ximeng saw Wuleqi coming back and asked hurriedly, "How is it? Did you meet Zhuotuo and the others?"
Wuleqi shook his head and said, "The county government office was completely silent, with no sign of life. I crawled inside and saw that Zhan Yunpeng had been stabbed in the chest and was already dead."
Shu Hu Ximeng was overjoyed: "Really?" After saying that, Shu Hu Ximeng exclaimed "Huh!" and scratched his head and said: "After Zhan Yunpeng died, why haven't Zhuo Tuo and the others returned yet?"

PS: I recommend a book by the same author. A hilarious historical novel about a struggle for supremacy, "The Story of a Woman Saving the Nation." He doesn't shock the world with his appearance, but with his strength. A cross-dressing tycoon, saving the nation in a roundabout way, with his sword out, who can stand up to him?
I highly recommend "The Magic School of the Savage Tribe" by my friend Ruanweiren. It's a truly rare and excellent book, and the author puts so much effort into it, almost revising every sentence. It's definitely worth a read.
