Jiang Shan's heart softened, and he said, "Jiang Huai plays too wildly and kicks off his blankets at night. Why don't you stay here and sleep with him tonight? My place is big enough to fit three people."
After speaking, she turned her face away, a suspicious blush appearing on the tips of her ears.
Fu Qiyuan readily took off his clothes, shoes, and socks, and quickly lay down.
Jiang Shan said no more, took off his outer robe, and climbed to the inside of the bed.
The candle was blown out, and the room became dark.
As Fu Qiyuan smelled the delicate fragrance wafting from under the covers, his thoughts drifted uncontrollably.
He swallowed hard, gathered his emotions, and called out in a low, hoarse voice, "Shan'er..."
"Hmm?" Jiang Shan responded, his eyes widening.
"N-nothing..."
After a while, Fu Qiyuan called out "Shan'er" again, but after Jiang Shan responded, he said nothing more.
A rustling sound came from behind him. Jiang Shan propped himself up and looked over, asking, "What's wrong?"
Fu Qiyuan paused for a moment, then said, "I'm a little thirsty, I'll get up and have some water."
Not long after finishing his water, Fu Qiyuan called out "Shan'er" again, his tone filled with deep helplessness.
Jiang Shan sat up abruptly, only to see Fu Qiyuan turn on the lamp.
"What's wrong now? Aren't you sleepy yet?" Jiang Shan asked, yawning.
Fu Qiyuan glanced down at his robe with a wry smile and said, "Shan'er, I'd better go sleep in the guest room so as not to disturb you."
Jiang Shan was wondering what was going on when Fu Qiyuan got out of bed.
In the instant he turned around, Jiang Shan saw what was under his robe...
The next second, her face turned bright red.
