Chapter 87 Blessings

Pei Guangnian, who had no idea what a business plan was, looked somewhat gloomy under Jiang Shan's disdainful gaze.

He is the vice president of the Chongqing Chamber of Commerce and has handled countless businesses, both large and small. No one has ever dared to make such an impolite request to him.

He casually suggested cooperating with Jiang Shan. As long as Jiang Shan agreed, his subordinates would naturally step in and handle the business. She just needed to follow their instructions!

There's no reason for her to be picky!

Therefore, Pei Guangnian tacitly interpreted Jiang Shan's words as her having too much appetite and too much greed.

A young girl with yellow hair, not knowing her own worth, dared to make exorbitant demands in front of him, even mentioning how the profits would be divided. Did she really think he was a good-natured pushover?

Pei Guangnian felt that he should teach Jiang Shan a small lesson. Once her shop could no longer operate, he would reappear, and she wouldn't be able to act so arrogantly anymore!

Jiang Shan was unaware that someone was targeting her with underhanded tactics. Her "advanced consumption" promotion was in full swing, even more popular than when the shop opened. Even when Xi'er was feeding Jiang Huai at the door, people came up to ask: "Is it mixed with crab roe? Otherwise, why is the child eating so heartily?"

Heaven knows that Jiang Huai was just starving because of his own mother. Unable to smell the milk, he could only settle for some high-end crab roe paste.

Jiang's Private Kitchen's revenue has increased several times over for several consecutive days!

Terrified, Zheng Wu clung to the railing of the Bafang Restaurant, refusing to go downstairs. He was afraid of seeing Jiang Shan's smug little eyes. He wasn't ready yet. He hadn't reported to his master about his decision to agree to Jiang Shan's request. He was afraid his master would bring people to beat him to death!

Today, Jiangshan received a guest who was not a distinguished guest but was nonetheless very distinguished: Manager Yan brought his eighty-year-old ancestor with him!

"Oh dear, ancestor!" Jiang Shan slapped his thigh and hurriedly helped the trembling old lady to the backyard with Manager Yan.

She set up a separate room for herself in the backyard on the first floor, where she would usually take Jiang Huai for an afternoon nap or chat with her family.

The old lady is getting on in years and it's inconvenient for her to go upstairs; it's not that I'm being disrespectful.

"Our matriarch insisted on coming. We didn't bring her when the shop opened, and she nagged us about it for ages. A few days ago, my son accidentally mentioned the posters outside, and our matriarch ran out to see them and started clamoring to come over!" Manager Yan said helplessly.

As Jiang Shan served tea, he turned to look at Old Madam Yan, who was curiously looking around, and couldn't help but laugh, "You should have said so earlier! I would have sent someone to pick her up sooner. There are too many people now!"

Grandma Yan had seen Jiang Shan before. She pointed at Jiang Shan and chuckled, "What a little kid!"

Jiang Shan was extremely grateful to the Yan family. When Jiang Huai was born, Manager Yan had helped her a great deal, and she couldn't let this kindness go unreturned.

Jiao's mother quickly brought Jiang Huai in. She bowed deeply to Old Madam Yan with the child, said a few words of gratitude, and then handed Jiang Huai to Jiang Shan.

Grandma Yan happily revealed her toothless mouth, looked at another toddler who was babbling and sucking on his gums, and chuckled.

Jiang Huai was drooling as he ate a piece of chiffon cake when he saw the old lady with her mouth open, so he put the cake into her mouth.

The old lady opened her mouth and ate, her smile becoming even brighter.

Jiang Huai seemed encouraged and turned to shout "Ah ah!" at Jiang Shan.

Jiao's mother took out a piece of oil paper from her pocket, inside which was a piece of cake, which she gave to Jiang Huai when he was craving something sweet.

The little guy got the cake and generously fed it to the old lady's toothless mouth without hesitation.

Grandma Yan chuckled, laughing so hard she felt embarrassed and quickly covered her mouth with her handkerchief.

Watching the interaction between the old man and the child, Jiang Shan said happily, "Grandmother, Huai'er likes you very much."

Manager Yan smiled broadly as he watched his grandmother's joyful expression, his heart softening.

He smiled at Jiang Shan and said, "The older our ancestor gets, the more picky he becomes about food. Even though he can't taste anything, he still likes those brightly colored foods, just like a child!"

Jiang Shan winked at Old Madam Yan, leaned close to her ear, and said loudly, "Grandma, today I'm going to give you a real feast!"

Grandma Yan understood Jiang Shan's words and slapped her thigh, nodding repeatedly.

Around lunchtime, Jiang Shan wrote down a list and had Jiao's mother take it to the kitchen.

Soon, Chef Ding took the six dishes and one soup out of the steamer and had the waiter deliver them to Jiang Shan's room.

This meal was made especially for Old Madam Yan. Manager Yan recognized it at a glance and couldn't help but give Jiang Shan a grateful look.

Jiang Shan helped Old Madam Yan to sit down in the main seat at the head of the table. To her right was Manager Yan, and Jiao's mother was sitting opposite Old Madam Yan with Jiang Huai in her arms. Jiang Shan sat down next to Old Madam Yan on her left.

In Jiang Shan's view, it was just a casual meal for family members, nothing fancy.

Grandma Yan's eyes were too many to take it all in; she looked at this and then at that, her joy barely concealed.

Jiang Shan pursed his lips and smiled secretly for a while. He pointed to the crab roe stew with ham closest to Old Madam Yan and said, "This dish uses the roe of blue crabs. The ham on top has been stewed for a long time. It melts in your mouth, and is salty, fresh, fragrant, and sticky. If you like it, Grandmother, you can have a few more bites."

Grandma Yan was as happy as a child. She took the red crab shell that Jiang Shan handed her, turned it over and looked at it over and over, and then used a small spoon to scoop out the crab roe and ham inside and took a bite.

"Delicious!" Grandma Yan sighed contentedly.

"Cha cha, cha!" Jiang Huai waved the specially made small wooden spoon in his hand, showing a few tiny teeth to Grandma Yan, and grinned from ear to ear.

He also really enjoyed this dish, and ate it even faster than Grandma Yan.

After Grandma Yan finished eating the ham and crab roe inside the crab shell, Jiang Shan pointed at the Mapo Tofu and laughed, "This isn't ordinary tofu. It's made with tofu pudding, shrimp meat, and egg whites. And the red stuff on top isn't chili peppers, it's tomato sauce, slightly sour with a hint of sweetness and a touch of spiciness. Grandma, try it and see if it's flavorful enough!"

There were no servants in the house; Jiang Shan let Old Madam Yan do everything herself. The dining table could rotate freely, and Jiang Shan would turn each dish in front of Old Madam Yan, setting out the tableware for her so that she could easily eat whatever she wanted, as much as she wanted.

Although Grandma Yan moved slowly, everyone showed great patience. Even though she stumbled and made a lot of noise, Jiang Shan didn't rush to help. She showed Grandma Yan the utmost respect and tolerance in her own way.

Manager Yan tried to help several times, but Jiang Shan stopped him with a look. He understood Jiang Shan's good intentions and knew that this was a blessing from their ancestors. He was so grateful that his eyes welled up with tears.

The meal consisted of six dishes and a soup. Grandma Yan tried every single dish, and ate quite a bit of her favorites. One dish, steamed garlic crab legs, was even completely devoured by the old woman and the child.

Grandma Yan was overjoyed. After eating and drinking her fill, she didn't mention going home at all. She chatted casually with Jiang Shan and Jiao's mother, and even Jiang Huai actively participated, expressing the sincerity of the host.
