"What's the matter? Did it delay your get off work?"
Li Huaide casually replied, but he never expected that Jia Dongsheng would be so unethical and simply nodded in agreement: "Yes!"
"My wife wants to eat candied haws, but it's not that cold yet, so they're not available. I was just thinking of going to the market to buy some hawthorns and making them for her myself, when you called me over."
"Oh my, blame me, blame me."
Li Huaide slapped his forehead, looking as if he had done something wrong, but both of them understood that what he had just said was just a joke.
"Dongsheng, you'll have to go to the countryside to find hawthorns. It's not the time to eat candied haws yet, so they probably won't be readily available in the market."
As he spoke, Li Huaide took out a cigarette and handed it to Jia Dongsheng.
"Brother Li, what you said makes sense. It's just right. I have a day off the day after tomorrow, so I'll go to the countryside to take a look."
Jia Dongsheng smiled and said, "I'll be a buyer for once. If I come across something good, I'll buy it and send it to you, Brother Li."
"Since you take such good care of me at the factory, I have to give you some gifts and curry favor with you!"
"Haha...Okay, I'll wait for your gift."
The two looked at each other and laughed for a while.
After laughing, Jia Dongsheng asked seriously, "Brother Li, what on earth do you want to talk to me about? Why is it so urgent?"
