"How long will it take for it to bloom?"
The girl's words hit his heart like a hammer, causing his fingers to tremble in pain.
Song Bo turned his back to her and chuckled.
"Don't be anxious, baby. Sunflowers grow very fast and will bloom soon."
Ruan Mian enjoyed the sea breeze and the sunshine, quietly watching the boys bury seeds in the soil, waiting for them to take root and sprout.
She felt that her life was so happy now, and a sincere smile appeared at the corner of her lips.
"Why did you find me in the warehouse so quickly last time?"
Even Gu Yan and the others couldn’t find him. Besides, the warehouse was so remote at that time, how did he find out that he was inside?
The boy's fingers paused when he heard this.
He rinsed his hands under the tap and dried them.
He walked up to the girl, half squatted down, and rested his head on her legs.
"Will Mianmian blame me because I installed a location tracking device in my bracelet?"
Ruan Mian actually guessed it roughly, because boys have a strong possessiveness and never allow themselves to leave his sight.
She gently stroked Song Bo's slightly prickly short hair, "I won't blame you."
Before he finished speaking, the girl had already fallen asleep.
She still kept her hands raised.
The boy tucked her wrists back into the blanket and covered her, and the fake smile on his face disappeared completely.
He looked at the girl with cold eyes but was powerless to do anything.
It turns out I am so useless!
The next morning.
Song Bo was cooking in the kitchen wearing an apron. The water in the pot splashed onto the countertop. He suddenly came to his senses and quickly turned off the fire.
The boy's cold white arms were blistered by the scalding soup, but he didn't feel any pain.
Calmly poured the second pot and started cooking again.
More than two hours passed, and the boy made two dishes and a soup, but either he put too much salt in them or they were burnt.
Actually, he can cook, but he was distracted all the time, so this happened.
Fortunately, Ruan Mian didn't dislike it. The girl tasted it and although it didn't look good, she could still accept it.
She smiled and comforted the slightly embarrassed Song Bo, "It's delicious."
Night falls...
The boy held her and sat on the beach, watching the twinkling stars. A gentle breeze blew through the girl's hair, bringing a faint fragrance.
"I want that shell, it looks so cute."
Not far away, Song Bo put her in his arms on the recliner.
He walked slowly over the gravel and bent down to pick it up.
It is a moon-shaped shell.
The boy came back and handed her what he had in his hand.
"Does it look good?"
Ruan Mian stretched out her soft palm to catch it, but the shell suddenly fell to the ground as soon as it touched her skin.
The girl's wrist slid in an arc like a butterfly with its wings clipped, and hung quietly beside her body.
Her eyes were closed, but there was still a smile on her face.
Song Bo pretended not to notice and asked her in a normal tone, "Since Mian Mian doesn't like it, I'll find you another one tomorrow."
No one responded...
The boy lifted the blanket on the girl and asked her, "Are you cold, Mianmian? Let's go home."
He bent down and gently picked up the girl, stepping on the beach with one foot deep and one foot shallow.
"What do you want to eat tomorrow, baby?"
The boy held her limp body firmly and talked to himself.
"Potatoes and pork ribs? Or cold shredded carrots?"
The island environment was quiet at night, and the salty sea breeze brushed across their cheeks.
Song Bo's tone was tender and gentle.
"Forget it, you little idiot will choke on potatoes, so how about changing to another dish?"
Apart from the rustling of leaves, only his voice could be heard.
The sound became increasingly distant.
Two lines of clear tears flowed from the boy's chin and fell to the ground.
"Mianmian..."
