"You don't have to come over." Yan Muhuai interrupted Rong Jin directly.
This one sentence silenced Rong Jin again.
Yan Muhuai realized that what he said was a bit hurtful, so he softened his tone a little, "My cousin had some problems, and in the process of dealing with them, we might come into contact with ghosts. The evil spirit on you will scare the ghosts away."
What this means is that we could have asked the ghost about something, but Rong Jin’s arrival might have cut off the clues.

Under the dim streetlight, Yan Muhuai's expression was unclear, but his voice was gentle, "Okay, thank you."
