Chapter 41 I Remember You

He stiffly turned his head to look at Fu Yan, whose dark eyes were staring straight at him.

Xiao Xin felt a chill run down his spine: "..."

That look in his eyes was just as terrifying as the one when Fu Yan ate the strawberry cream.

Xiao Xin was momentarily stunned, forgetting that his finger was still being bitten on his lip.

Suddenly, my wrist was grabbed by a large, bony hand.

Xiao Xin finally snapped out of her daze, blinked at Fu Yan, and asked, "You...you remember now?"

A hint of embarrassment flashed across Xiao Xin's face; his behavior just now seemed no different from that of a pervert.

Fu Yan held his hand tightly, licked his index finger with her soft, wet tongue, and looked up at Xiao Xin with pitiful eyes: "Brother, I'm hungry..."

Xiao Xin's expression froze, her lips twitched, and she struggled to pull her hand back from Fu Yan's grasp.

After successfully pulling her hand away from Fu Yan's, Xiao Xin turned and walked towards the door, saying, "Wait here."

Fu Yan nodded: "Okay."

Xiao Xin left the room in a state of confusion, closing the door behind her, a blush creeping onto her face.

Damn it.

The hospital corridor was quite cool, but he inexplicably felt his face getting hot and his head getting a little dizzy.

Xiao Xin shook his head, patted his wildly beating chest, and looked up to see two bodyguards staring straight at him.

He straightened up, cleared his throat, and forced himself to remain calm.

Then, with his hands behind his back, he glanced at the two bodyguards beside him and asked, "Um... the young master said he's hungry, what about you two?"

The bodyguards exchanged glances and immediately understood Xiao Xin's meaning. One of the bodyguards said, "Understood, Mr. Xiao. I'll go prepare dinner for the young master right away."

Xiao Xin nodded, turned around and opened the door: "Go and come back quickly."

After saying that, he went into the room and closed the door behind him.

Xiao Xin glanced at Fu Yan indifferently, then, under Fu Yan's gaze, lay down on the sofa ten meters away from the bed, crossed her long legs, and casually took out her phone to play.

He had a feeling that Fu Yan was deliberately playing a trick on him, but he wasn't sure, and he felt a little strange.

Fu Yan opened his mouth as if to say something, but seeing that Xiao Xin was so far away from him, he closed his mouth again.

The two remained silent for ten minutes until a knock suddenly sounded on the door.

"Knock knock..."

Xiao Xin got up, stuffed her phone into her pocket, and walked towards the door in her slippers.

He opened the door, took the insulated food container from the bodyguard, said "thank you," then closed the door and called to Fu Yan on the bed, "Come here."

Fu Yan put on his shoes and stood up, his head still aching a little.

He held his head and stood there for a while to catch his breath.

Seeing that he was dawdling, Xiao Xin didn't urge him. She put the food from the insulated box on the table, took out her phone, lay down on the sofa, and started playing cards again.

Fu Yan moved over to the sofa, glanced at Xiao Xin, and then sat down opposite him, turning his attention to the food on the table.

The dishes were all very bland, and Fu Yan didn't have much of an appetite for them.

Xiao Xin, who was playing Dou Dizhu, would occasionally glance up at him. Seeing that he hadn't touched his chopsticks, he couldn't help but ask, "Aren't you hungry?"

Upon hearing his question, Fu Yan lowered his eyes and looked at Xiao Xin: "My hand hurts..."

Xiao Xin gave him a questioning look: "?"

Fu Yan raised her right hand, showing him the bandage wrapped around her wrist: "Really, I'm not lying to you..."

His tone was soft, and even his eyes revealed a clear innocence.

Xiao Xin jumped up from the sofa, slammed his phone down on it, and winked at Fu Yan with a smile: "You want me to feed you, right, young master?"

Although he was smiling, his tone of voice sounded strange.

Seeing him staring at her like that, Fu Yan lowered her head guiltily and took the initiative to pick up her chopsticks.

He picked up his chopsticks and tried to pick up the tofu from the lunchbox, but as soon as he reached it, the tofu rolled back into the lunchbox with a "plop".

Xiao Xin just watched quietly, maintaining his professional smile.

Fu Yan failed to pick up any food on his first attempt. He cautiously looked up at Xiao Xin, and seeing that Xiao Xin didn't say anything, he tried to pick up the tofu, but without exception, he failed again.

After repeating this ten times, Xiao Xin's smile completely disappeared. He went to the bathroom to wash his hands, then sat back on the sofa, snatched the chopsticks from Fu Yan's hand, and handed Fu Yan a spoon instead.

Fu Yan glanced at his gloomy face, slowly reached out to take it, but because he didn't use enough force with his thumb, the spoon fell onto the coffee table with a "thud".

Xiao Xin frowned, his patience about to run out, and slammed his fist on the sofa.

He tilted his head, gritted his teeth, took a deep breath, and then turned to look at Fu Yan with a smile: "Okay, I'll feed you."

He walked around the coffee table, sat down next to Fu Yan, then picked up some rice and vegetables, and scooped a large mouthful of rice with a spoon to feed him: "Young Master, please open your mouth."

Each spoonful of rice he scooped was so plentiful that it filled Fu Yan's entire mouth.

Xiao Xin looked at his chubby cheeks and the way his eyes curved, making him look like a little hamster, which was quite cute.

Fu Yan looked at the fake smile on his face and could tell that he was unwilling, but he still opened his mouth and accepted the food that Xiao Xin fed him, bite by bite.

He vaguely sensed that Xiao Xin was angry, but he couldn't figure out what was wrong. After thinking for a moment, Fu Yan couldn't help but ask, "Are you... angry?"

Xiao Xin looked up at him: "How could I dare... how could I be angry?"

As he spoke, he raised the spoon to Fu Yan's lips again: "Ah..."

Like taking care of a child, as long as Fu Yan doesn't cause trouble, he can stay in a good mood.

Fu Yan grabbed his wrist, which was raised in mid-air, swallowed the food in his mouth, and then spoke: "Because just now, I licked your... um..."

Before he could finish his sentence, Xiao Xin shoved a spoonful of rice into his mouth and smiled at him, saying, "Young Master, it's nothing. I won't get angry over such a trivial matter. Don't worry!"

Fu Yan's pupils trembled, and he almost choked on his movements.

Fortunately, Xiao Xin noticed his condition and quickly took the spoon out of his mouth.

Fu Yan chewed for a while, forcing himself to swallow that big mouthful of rice, but because he swallowed too much, his eyes welled up with tears.

He clutched his chest, looking somewhat uncomfortable, and his eyes began to redden slightly.

Seeing his reddened eyes, Xiao Xin realized that she might have gone a bit too far.

His Adam's apple bobbed slightly, and out of kindness, he poured Fu Yan a cup of hot water.

"Look, you won't feel so bad after drinking it."

Fu Yan took the glass and drank a sip of water, which relieved the swelling in his chest.

Seeing that he had calmed down, Xiao Xin gently patted his back and asked in his ear, "Are you feeling better?"

Fu Yan nodded: "Mm."

He looked dejected and seemed to be in a bad mood.

Xiao Xin patted Fu Yan's back, thinking that Fu Yan's brain must have really been damaged. Fu Yan didn't resist at all when he treated him like this. If it were before, he would have died eight hundred times over.

Fu Yan wiped the water from the corner of his mouth with the back of his hand. Feeling Xiao Xin's gaze, he turned to look into those beautiful eyes: "Brother, actually, I... I remember you..."
