As usual, Xiao Xin drove the whole way.
The back seat of the car was piled with new clothes and various supplies, so Fu Yan could only sit in the passenger seat.
Xiao Xin ignored Fu Yan the entire time and focused on driving.
Fu Yan glanced at Xiao Xin's profile from time to time, looking as if he wanted to say something but hesitated.
Xiao Xin caught Fu Yan's gaze out of the corner of his eye, but he pursed his lips, subconsciously not wanting to pay attention to Fu Yan.
As they neared home, Fu Yan couldn't help but call out to Xiao Xin, "Brother..."
The voice was weak and lacked confidence.
"Don't call me brother, I'm not your brother."
Xiao Xin coldly refused.
As expected, Fu Yan sensed the anger in Xiao Xin's words.
Fu Yan was full of questions. What exactly was Xiao Xin angry about?
The car drove into the small warehouse, and the already dim light became even dimmer.
Xiao Xin parked the car, unbuckled his seatbelt, and said coldly, "Get out of the car."
As he was about to get out of the car, his wrist was pulled back by a strong force.
Xiao Xin was caught off guard and fell back onto his seat.
Fu Yan unbuckled his seatbelt, strode over to the driver's seat, and leaned over Xiao Xin.
Xiao Xin looked at him coldly: "Get out of my way."
Fu Yan seemed not to hear him and turned the rotary knob under the seat.
Xiao Xin suddenly fell backward, his right hand was held in a pincer movement by Fu Yan, and he instinctively used his free left hand to grab Fu Yan's collar.
Fu Yan lost his balance and pressed down with Xiao Xin.
Their chests were pressed together, and Xiao Xin felt Fu Yan's rapid breathing, the slight rise and fall of his chest, and the hot breath on his face...
Xiao Xin's face flushed, and she nudged Fu Yan's shoulder: "Fu Yan, stop fooling around!"
Fu Yan grabbed Xiao Xin's wrists with one hand and raised them above Xiao Xin's head, his voice low and hoarse: "Brother, were you angry just now?"
Xiao Xin struggled for a moment, but Fu Yan was too strong, and she could not break free.
He dared not meet Fu Yan's burning gaze, lowered his eyes, and said coldly, "No."
Fu Yan stared at those red lips so close to his face, his breathing becoming increasingly heavy.
Xiao Xin just said he wanted to kiss these lips...
Fu Yan bent his index finger and lifted Xiao Xin's chin. Seeing the fear in her beautiful eyes, he chuckled softly: "Brother, are you angry because I refused to kiss you just now?"
He stared at Xiao Xin's red lips with a dark look in his eyes, wanting to kiss those lips until he suffocated, and then beg for mercy while panting.
Xiao Xin concealed the fear in her eyes, stared at Fu Yan's dark eyes, and scoffed coldly: "You're overthinking it."
Fu Yan slowly leaned closer to Xiao Xin, his thumb stroking Xiao Xin's lower lip, and whispered, "Brother's lips are so hard, won't they soften after a kiss?"
"I told my brother long ago, the mouth can lie, but the eyes can't..."
Xiao Xin: "..."
Fu Yan's breathing grew heavier and heavier, and he said hoarsely, trying to suppress his discomfort, "Brother, let's continue what we didn't finish in the office, okay?"
Xiao Xin curled her lips coldly, watching the face getting closer and closer, then turned her face away: "No, once you miss that village, you won't find another shop like it..."
That was just a routine matter. If Fu Yan didn't cooperate, what kind of private matter is that?
Fu Yan held Xiao Xin's wrist and, ignoring Xiao Xin's protests, tried to lean in for a kiss: "Brother, just one kiss..."
He firmly believed that Xiao Xin was angry because of what had just happened, so he was determined to please Xiao Xin.
Seeing his reckless attitude, Xiao Xin feared things would spiral out of control and coldly said, "Fu Yan! I told you not to make trouble!"
Desire overwhelmed reason, and Fu Yan continued to press himself against Xiao Xin's face regardless of the consequences.
Xiao Xin turned his face away to dodge, but his knee suddenly bumped into something.
Suddenly realizing something, he slammed his knee into Fu Yan and threatened, "You've gotten bold, trying to ruin this place?"
Fu Yan paused for a moment, then felt a sharp pain in his lower abdomen and tightened his grip on Xiao Xin's wrist.
He pursed his lips to suppress the unbearable pain, and whispered in Xiao Xin's ear, "Brother, don't..."
"Aren't you going to let go?" Xiao Xin asked sternly.
Upon hearing this, Fu Yan released him and, supporting himself on either side of the chair, was about to back away when a series of "thump-thump" sounds came from the glass window.
Xiao Xin's heart tightened, and Fu Yan immediately noticed that something was wrong with Xiao Xin.
“Brother, you…” He looked at Xiao Xin in surprise.
Xiao Xin didn't care about anything else and glanced out the window. It turned out to be the noodle shop owner.
The proprietress peered inside with her eyes open, but couldn't make eye contact with Xiao Xin. Only then did Xiao Xin realize that the car was one-way, and people outside couldn't see inside.
He shoved Fu Yan aside and kicked him into the passenger seat.
Xiao Xin quickly straightened her collar, rolled down the car window halfway, and asked her with a smile, "Is there something you need, sis?"
The proprietress's bewildered expression brightened when she saw Xiao Xin: "Xiao Xin, so you were in the car! I saw the car shaking badly on my way home and thought something had happened, so I came to check."
Xiao Xin's smile froze: "..."
Seeing the blush on Xiao Xin's face, and then glancing at Fu Yan, who was adjusting his clothes in the passenger seat, the proprietress asked with concern, "Are you two alright?"
Xiao Xin gave an awkward twitch of her lips, shook her head, and pointed to the half-reclined chair: "It's nothing, sis, it's just that this chair had a slight problem earlier..."
The proprietress nodded somewhat skeptically: "Oh..."
She held up the groceries in her hand and said to Xiao Xin, "Since there's nothing else, I'll go home and cook."
Xiao Xin nodded and waved to her: "Go ahead, sis."
The proprietress waved and left the small garage, walking out from under the roller shutter door.
Xiao Xin closed the car window, adjusted the seat, leaned back lazily to catch her breath, and asked Fu Yan, "What do you want to eat tonight?"
