Feng Lu quickly sent Xiao Xin her location, then put her phone back in Fu Yan's pocket, smiling and boasting, "How was my acting? Not bad, right?"
Fu Yan gave him a thumbs up: "Great."
Feng Lu looked at the shards of glass scattered on the ground and said, "It's all up to you now. Don't mess it up."
"Hmm..." Fu Yan responded.
"Have you looked at all those study materials?" Feng Lu suddenly asked.
Fu Yan took a moment to react, then said, "I saw it."
Feng Lu asked, "Do you know how?"
Fu Yan: "..."
What was he supposed to say?
"I understand the theory..." he said.
Feng Lu patted his arm: "Okay, today we'll put our skills to use on your senior. Are you confident?"
Fu Yan's heart skipped a beat, and her ears turned slightly red.
He shielded his eyes with his arm: "Isn't that kind of thing something only intimate people can do...?"
He didn't want to force Xiao Xin to do things he didn't like.
Feng Lu glared at him: "Wouldn't that make us intimate?"
Fu Yan remained silent.
When Xiao Xin arrived at the door of the private room, he saw a waiter sweeping up shards of glass on the floor.
He pushed open the door and walked towards Fu Yan, who was lying on the sofa.
Fu Yan lowered his eyes slightly, and the moment he saw Xiao Xin, his eyes immediately reddened.
But he still had to pretend to be drunk, so he could only close his eyes and pretend to be asleep.
Xiao Xin held Fu Yan's head and handed him a hangover medicine: "Drink it."
Fu Yan mumbled with her eyes closed, "Didn't my brother say he was bringing his boyfriend home for the night? Why are you interfering with me..."
Xiao Xin said sternly, "Not drinking?"
Fu Yan gave in and finished drinking through the straw.
Xiao Xin threw the medicine bottle into the trash can and gave Feng Lu a look: "Come and lend a hand."
Feng Lu rushed over in a panic and helped him carry Fu Yan out of the private room.
After helping the person into the back seat of the car, Xiao Xin looked up and asked Feng Lu, "Want a ride?"
Feng Lu shook her head: "It's okay, senior. You should take Fu Yan home first. He seemed to be in a bad mood today, which is why he dragged me out for drinks. I couldn't persuade him otherwise, so I'm sorry..."
Xiao Xin nodded to him: "I'm sorry to have troubled you. Be careful on the road."
Feng Lu took a step back, smiled, and waved to him: "Goodbye, senior."
The bar was a bit of a distance from home; it took Xiao Xin about fifteen minutes to drive there.
He parked the car, opened the back door, climbed in, and leaned over Fu Yan, asking, "Are you more awake now?"
Fu Yan didn't speak, his eyes were half-closed, he grabbed Xiao Xin's collar and brought his face close to hers.
Their cool lips touched, and Xiao Xin realized what was happening and pinched Fu Yan's waist.
"Uh..." Fu Yan winced in pain and released Xiao Xin.
Xiao Xin bit her lower lip and scoffed, "Looks like you're awake now. Go upstairs by yourself. I can't carry you..."
He was about to step back when a hand tightly encircled his waist.
Fu Yan leaned close to his ear, his voice low and husky: "Brother, did you really date him?"
Xiao Xin: "..."
"Brother, I'm sorry. I shouldn't have ignored you. Please don't talk to him, talk to me instead. I really didn't mean to ignore you. I was wrong..."
Fu Yan's tears came suddenly, soaking Xiao Xin's neck.
Xiao Xin said coldly, "Let me go first..."
His head was already throbbing from the hangover, but Fu Yan's crying made it even worse.
Fu Yan hugged him even tighter. "No, I won't let go, brother. I won't let go until you forgive me. I really, really love you. Why did you go and date someone else instead of me? Why?"
The two were pressed close together, and the temperature in the cramped carriage gradually rose.
Fu Yan rubbed against his neck, making Xiao Xin feel a sudden discomfort.
Xiao Xin's fingertips gradually tightened, and the reaction became stronger and stronger.
Fu Yan seemed oblivious, still sobbing, "Brother, I was wrong, please forgive me. I won't give you the cold shoulder next time. Please don't go and date other people, okay?"
"Why can he do it, but we can't... Why, brother, waaaaah..."
Xiao Xin couldn't resist any longer and wrapped her arms around Fu Yan's neck, kissing his mouth.
Fu Yan was stunned. He moved slightly and then realized that Xiao Xin...
Seeing that he had calmed down, Xiao Xin let go of him for a moment and breathed a sigh of relief.
Fu Yan looked surprised: "Brother, you..."
"Shut up," Xiao Xin cursed, then shut the mouth again.
The two were kissing passionately and lost in the moment, when the atmosphere reached its peak, when suddenly someone knocked twice on the car window.
"Xiao Xin, you two..." The landlady looked at the two people hugging in the car, her expression shifting from shock to utter shock.
Xiao Xin snapped out of her daze, turned around, and realized that she hadn't closed her car door.
He instinctively jumped out of the car and accidentally bumped his head.
"Hiss..." Xiao Xin gasped, covering his head.
The proprietress felt a little guilty seeing him bump his head and apologized softly, "I was just passing by and saw your car door wasn't closed, so... I'm sorry..."
She panicked and didn't know what to say. She glanced at Xiao Xin's reddened lips and cursed herself inwardly for interrupting someone else's good time...
Xiao Xin waved her hand: "It's okay, sis..."
"Well, then I'll be going now?" The proprietress waved at him, "You guys continue, you guys continue..."
After saying that, she turned and left without looking back.
Xiao Xin glared angrily at Fu Yan.
Fu Yan climbed out of the car, saw his angry face, and grabbed Xiao Xin's hand: "Brother, I'm sorry..."
"Shut up."
Xiao Xin glared at him, pulled her hand away, closed the car door, and turned to walk out.
Fu Yan stared at his back for a second, stunned. Weren't they just kissing happily? Why did he suddenly get angry?
He suddenly remembered Feng Lu's words of advice; Xiao Xin must have been angry because the kiss just now wasn't enough.
