Chapter 20 Seafood Feast

“…”

"Mr. said he might be late. This is the dinner he ordered especially for you. You can take it home and eat it instead of cooking it yourself."

Xiao Yu looked at the oversized thermos with the hotel logo and the fruit basket filled with high-end fruits: "Thank you."

"Mr. Xiao, you're too polite. Please leave work early. Mr. may be busy until very late. Also, Mr. asked me to tell you something: Don't stay up late."

Xiao Yu smiled awkwardly: "I have been doing everything he asked me to do recently."

"My husband said that if I shut down my computer at 1am and go to bed at 2am, it doesn't count."

Xiao Yu: ...Fuck, can this be known?

Su Lin: ^_^

Xiao Yu's electric scooter couldn't carry so many things, so he only took the insulated lunch bucket home, and put the fruit basket back in the refrigerator's refrigerator compartment in his office.

When he passed by the president's office, there were still several people inside who had not left work, including Secretary Chen who had taken him to the tea room on the second floor in the afternoon.

Seeing that they were all busy, he didn't say hello and took the elevator downstairs.

Maybe it was because it was past the rush hour, the traffic on the way back was much faster than on the way here.

When Xiao Yu got home, the first thing he did was open the thermos and eat. He planned to finish his meal and do some more coding before Zhou Yanzhi got home. Otherwise, his summer coding plan might not be completed.

The dinner was very sumptuous, with a large bowl of seafood soup, a steak, a few crab roe buns, shrimp dumplings, a large seafood platter consisting of large prawns, king crab legs, fish, lobster tails, and a dessert platter of various rolls.

The quantity is definitely enough.

Xiao Yu also enjoyed the process, especially when he discovered that shrimp and crab meat, which he had previously disliked, were actually quite sweet when eaten alone. He didn't know if it was because he wasn't used to seafood, but after eating it, he felt a sore throat, stomach, and eventually, abdominal pain.

Xiao Yu didn't understand what the problem was. If it was an allergy, he didn't have any red spots on his body. He could only conclude that his stomach was weak and he couldn't handle such a luxurious meal.

He made himself a large cup of green tea and drank it desperately. Finally, he went to the bathroom several times, and his throat and stomach finally felt better.

The pain in my stomach wasn't as bad. Although it wasn't as intense, it was still a dull ache that couldn't be ignored.
