Following Ni Yueshan's instructions, a group of people rushed to a manor in the suburbs. Ni Yueshan was the first to dismount. There was chaos everywhere, with wailing people, overturned things, and blood all over the ground.

Ni Yueshan then became somewhat alert and called out softly, "Second Prince?"
But this call received no response.
Only then did Ni Yueshan realize that Jing Yuchen was really seriously injured and was pretending to be relaxed when talking to her at first.
Ni Yueshan's expression changed and he urged the horse to go faster.
Outside the Second Prince's residence, Ni Yueshan halted his horse and anxiously called out to the servants inside, "Quick, call the doctor!"
