Chapter 2: Finding Relatives for Youyou
Su Siwen and Qin Kun decided to adopt the child. The child had the same surname as Su Siwen, and was named Su Youli.
Su Youli has been easy to take care of since he was young. He just sleeps and eats all day and rarely cries.
A year later, the family of three returned to live in a small town in the south of the city.
That is Qin Kun's hometown and also the place where Su Siwen and Qin Kun fell in love.
The one-year-old Su Youli is very cute, with round eyes and delicate complexion, like a fairy boy under the seat of Goddess Guanyin.
Just one month after arriving in Yunshui Street, little Su Youli has become the most popular child among the neighbors.
It is not difficult for two young men to raise a child, but what is more important is happiness.
The child they picked up from the trash can became the most precious treasure in their lives.
But now, they have to help Su Youli find his biological parents.
"Youyou might be a child abandoned by his biological parents. Do you think his relatives will really look for him?"
But there is another possibility that the child might have been abducted. The person who stole the child probably saw that the child was weak and thought he could not survive, so he abandoned him to avoid trouble.
Qin Kun, a 1.85-meter-tall man, also had tears in his eyes when he thought about Youyou being taken away.
Su Siwen wiped her tears and spoke with a thick nasal tone: "Then what do you want me to do? Do you want Youyou to see me lying in bed and unable to get up? He is only three years old."
Qin Kun touched his head, squatted in front of his wheelchair, and tried to persuade his stubborn lover: "We are a family, and a family should be together!"
Su Siwen shook his head. His baby was only three years old, an age when he should be protected the most.
"You've been so busy that my leg is getting worse..."
His eyes were blurred with tears as he recalled the last time Youyou fell down and he was unable to even get up to hug him and comfort him.
Su Siwen slammed his knee hard, "It's all my fault, it's all my fault!"
He cried so hard that Qin Kun held him and comforted him over and over again:
"Okay, okay, stop crying."
We put Youyou’s photo on all the express deliveries we sent out, and Youyou’s information was also registered in the “Tuanyuan” system.
If Youyou’s biological parents really had never given up looking for him, they would definitely have seen it. ”
I hope Youyou was not abandoned by her biological parents, but was stolen away by someone with malicious intent, Qin Kun thought to himself.
Qin Kun was going to work, and Su Youli jogged after him to the roadside.
"Kunkun, can Youyou have cream ice cream today?" The little cub grabbed his father's trouser leg.
Qin Kun grabbed the child with his big hands and lifted him up high. Su Youli was not afraid of being suddenly picked up, as he often played like this with his father.
"Hahaha, KunKun lift it high!"
Su Youli looks like a doll, with long and curled eyelashes and eyes as bright as stars. She looks even more obedient and beautiful when she smiles at this moment.
Su Youli noticed that Kun Kun didn't continue to throw him around like usual, and looked at his father in confusion.
Qin Kun held him in front of him and touched the back of his head: "Youyou, take good care of your little dad at home and don't run around, okay? Dad will bring you cream ice cream after get off work."
“Yeah!”
Youyou raised his hands high, held his father's face and kissed him hard, his shiny saliva still on Qin Kun's face.
Qin Kun had just put Su Youli down when a few children came running over on the stone road behind him.
"Youyou, let's play Eagle Catches Chicken!"
Su Youli's eyes sparkled. He turned around and said goodbye to his father perfunctorily, then twisted his little body and ran away.
Qin Kun looked at the child who was running away with his friends, and his eyes darkened for a moment.
How could they bear to give up such a cute baby?
Over the past year, Su Siwen's leg condition has become increasingly worse, and the time he can stand on his legs has become shorter and shorter.
They went to many big hospitals, and the doctors all said that they either had to amputate or try their luck abroad.
Every time they went on a long trip to see a doctor in another city and couldn't come back for ten days or half a month, Su Youli would stand at the door and watch them get in the car with her big watery eyes.
The child, who was only two years old, was obviously very sad, but he still didn't let himself cry out loud.
She just waved to the two dads obediently and said in a small voice pretending to be strong: "Youyou, wait for the dads to come back at home."
Grandma Yang from next door is a very kind old lady. Grandpa Yang is a carpenter, and the whole family likes Su Youli very much.
Every time Qin Kun took Su Siwen out to see a doctor, Su Youli stayed at Grandma Yang's house.
...
At noon, the aroma of food wafted along the street.
"Youyou, go home and have dinner!"
Su Siwen stood at the door with his palms resting on it.
When he was outside, he didn't use crutches or sit in a wheelchair. He stood straight and smiled, calling Su Youli to come home for dinner.
Su Youli was playing hopscotch with Yang Yang and the others. When he heard his father calling him, he turned around and ran away without any reluctance, regardless of how his friends behind him shouted to keep him.
Su Youli ran to the door and stretched out his hands to Su Siwen: "Dad, hug me!"
Su Siwen smiled, squatted down, lifted Su Youli up and picked him up.
There was a small step at the door, and Su Siwen's body swayed when he raised his foot.
Su Youli blinked and said, "Dad, Kunkun said Youyou is a big boy now."
Su Siwen reached out to scratch his little nose, and endured the dull pain from his knees: "The baby is still young!"
Then he saw Su Youli pouting her lips, "I'm a big kid now, I want to walk by myself."
"Dad, put Youyou down!"
He knew that little dad had leg pain.
Su Siwen held his hands tighter, but still put the child down obediently.
Su Youli, who was placed on the ground, walked steadily and let his little father hold his hand.
"Dad, KunKun said he would buy me some cream ice cream after get off work!"
When talking about his favorite food, the child smiled and his eyes were full of anticipation.
Su Siwen hummed and said, "Then you have to eat your lunch well, or Kun Kun won't buy you ice cream!"
Arriving at the dining table, Su Youli obediently climbed onto his own small stool, held his wooden bowl in both hands and started to eat.
He slurped down his bowl of rice, wiped his mouth, climbed down from the bench, and ran to the side holding his own bowl.
"Kunkun, I've finished my meal, please buy me some ice cream~"
Qin Kun installed surveillance cameras at home early on because there are children and a patient with mobility impairments at home.
Qin Kun was also eating at the moment. The childish voice reached his ears through the surveillance camera, and Qin Kun smiled.
"Okay, I'll buy it for you. Wait!"
Su Youli chuckled twice and took the bowl to the kitchen.
He stepped on his own little stool and put his bowl into the pool.
"Little daddy, Youyou is full, you should eat well too!"
Su Youli began to supervise Su Siwen while she was eating.
Su Siwen studied art. When his leg condition was not serious, he would take commissions to paint online and became somewhat famous on the Internet.
In the past six months, he has been unable to paint.
The pain caused by leg disease is enormous. It not only increases the family's financial burden, but sometimes even the little Su Youli has to take care of him.
When he was sick and had a poor appetite, the children stared at him while he ate and said that his father was a disobedient father.
Su Siwen blushed when she heard that.
Yesterday, Su Youli imitated Qin Kun in washing dishes, but ended up breaking two bowls, and scared Su Siwen quite a bit.
So the child didn’t wash the dishes today. He collected the dishes and put them in the sink, waiting for KunKun to come back and wash them.
There are some things that children should not do, and he only realized this after he broke the bowl.
After finishing his meal, Su Siwen sat on a chair with a blanket covering his legs. He logged into his account to see if anyone wanted to ask him to do some simple manuscripts.
Su Youli took a nap, then got up and ran to the yard to play.
It had just rained in the midsummer afternoon, and there was still a wisp of moisture in the yard.
As long as Su Siwen raised his eyes, he could see the little group squatting in the garden and playing.
