Chapter 303 Thrills

Chapter 303 Thrills

Su Youli walked into the yard and found a place to sit down.

Tie-dyed cloths hung from tall wooden racks, swaying in the breeze.

Not far away, several people were busy tie-dyeing with the help of the boss. Su Youli sniffed and somehow felt empty in his heart.

All his good friends came to visit Yunshui, but the most important person was missing.

Wang Yudie not only made a skirt, but also made two tie-dyed canvas bags, and bought a few tie-dyed hair bands before leaving.

Mile and Lu Ting did the same thing and bought a lot of things for their families.

It was almost sunset when I left the tie-dye shop, and I could vaguely see a little orange glow shining through the gaps in the clouds.

Mile put the things into his schoolbag and put it on his back.

The orange glow is reflected on the surface of the river next to the street, and the ripples are sparkling and particularly beautiful. This color cannot be described with specific words.

"Let's ride our bikes to watch the sunset!" Together with his friends, the little madness in Lu Ting's heart began to stir.

At the end of Yunshui Street is Yunshui Park, which also has a river. When Su Youli came here before, Pei Xu would often go there to play.

"OK!"

"Youyou, lead the way quickly, or we'll be late for sunset!"

The bluestone road in Yunshui Town is dotted with some afterglow of the setting sun, and the golden light and the mottled ancient walls are interwoven into a quaint picture.

The arrival of several teenagers broke the silence.

Their faces were filled with youthful vigor as they rode their bicycles along the streets of the ancient town.

The wheels made a crisp sound on the cobblestone road.

This is the rhythm of youth, cheerful and unrestrained.

The midsummer wind whistled in Su Youli's ears, ruffling his hair.

The view gradually became wider. They rode to their destination, parked their bikes side by side, and rushed to the river impatiently.

Several people were either sitting or lying down, letting the bright orange sunset shine on them.

The sun is about to set and will disappear over the horizon.

Su Youli looked at the sun that was like a fireball, and in a trance he actually saw Pei Xu's face.

Time seemed to freeze at this moment. Su Youli stared at the sun slowly setting with Pei Xu's face printed on it.

He must be crazy, he thought.

Does he miss Pei Xu so much? He would be dazzled by just watching the sunset.

"Bang bang bang" Su Youli's eardrums were almost unbearable from the sudden sound. Su Youli looked around, but it seemed that everyone else heard nothing.

"......?"

When only half of the sun was left, he raised his hand and placed his palm on his chest.

It turned out to be the sound of his heartbeat.

After dinner, Su Youli went back to his room to take a shower, change clothes and lie on the bed. He still couldn't figure out why his heart was beating so fast.

It was so fast that he couldn't stand it.

They are going to the tea mountain to watch the sunrise tomorrow and will set off at five o'clock, so they have to go to bed early tonight.

Su Youli wrapped himself in the quilt, rolled around on the bed for a few times, and then closed his eyes.

The moonlight outside the window is bright and the croaking of frogs can be heard clearly.

Ten minutes later, the person on the bed opened his eyes.

"I can't sleep." Su Youli pulled his arms out of the quilt and placed them on the quilt, staring at the dark ceiling in a daze.

The night light at the bedside showed the time was half past ten. Su Youli lay on his side, not knowing whether Pei Xu was asleep or not.

As if with telepathy, a bell suddenly rang.

Su Youli picked up the phone and looked at it, a smile appeared on the corners of his eyes and eyebrows.

He tucked his chin into the quilt and coughed twice before answering the phone. He deliberately lowered his voice, trying to sound a little cooler to the person on the other end of the phone.

"Hello."

A soft laugh entered Su Youli's ears, making him feel numb, as if a tiny electric current was hitting his ears.

"Youyou, can't sleep?"

Pei Xu knew that they were going to watch the sunrise tomorrow, but unfortunately he had a game tomorrow and couldn't accompany him.

Su Youli's mouth was tucked into the quilt, and her fluffy, slightly curly hair was a little messy on the pillow.

He said, “Well, I couldn’t sleep.”

"Then, shall I tell you a story?" Pei Xu said.

The night was quiet. As far as Su Youli could remember, he had never talked to Pei Xu on the phone like this before.

They were together in kindergarten, elementary school and junior high school. Even during the Chinese New Year and summer vacation, they never called each other like this.

It’s hard to describe this feeling. Perhaps it was because he mistook the sun for Pei Xu’s face when he watched the sunset during the day, so Su Youli felt a little embarrassed.

He originally wanted to say that he was already a high school student at the start of the school year, and it was too childish to have to listen to stories before falling asleep.

But when the words came to my lips, they became: "What story?"

The story Pei Xu told was called "The Secret of the Big Forest", which was the topic that Su Youli was most interested in.

Su Youli had heard this story many times from his fathers when he was young.

But it feels very different coming out of Pei Xu's mouth. Pei Xu's voice is very recognizable, his tone is cold, and it sounds a bit deep when he lowers his voice.

Ten minutes later, Pei Xu finished his story and there was silence on the other end of the phone.

"Youyou?" he called softly.

Su Youli fell asleep.

Pei Xu sat at the desk, pursed his lips and smiled. He could imagine how Youyou looked when she was sleeping now. She must be very well behaved.

He listened quietly for a while to the steady and even breathing on the phone.

At this moment, the boy's heart seemed to be filled with something.

There is a little sweetness and also the throbbing of youth.

He wanted to fly to Su Youli immediately.

The singing of birds outside the window woke Su Youli up from his sleep.

The boy rubbed his eyes and sat up. There must have been wind last night that blew the window open.

Su Youli got up quickly, put on his clothes and pants, and put on a dark blue windbreaker before leaving.

Although it is summer, the temperature difference between morning and evening is large, so it is still a bit cold on the top of the mountain.

When he went downstairs, Shen Minyan was already sitting in the living room waiting for him.

"Dad." Shen Minyan got up and zipped him up. He was the children's driver today.

Shen Minyan drove over, and Su Youli stood at the door of Yang's house waiting for a while, and Li Bei and Yang Yang came over.

Su Youli was very envious of how energetic they were. How could they still be so energetic after sleeping for such a short time?

Li Bei laughed, "We played games all night and didn't sleep."

Su Youli exclaimed, "Then you will definitely get tired when you go up the mountain later."

"It's okay, just come back and catch up on some sleep after watching the sunrise."

This was the first time that Li Bei and Yang Yang watched the sunrise with their friends from the North City. They were so excited that they couldn’t sleep at all the night.

I wish I could wake up the sun in the middle of the night so that these little friends can see the beautiful sunrise over the clouds and water.

Su Youli was speechless and gave a thumbs up: "Awesome."

After picking up the other three people at the B&B, the black SUV drove to the top of the tea mountain.
