Wearing a cream-colored outfit, she was looking at them with a pair of bright, clear black and white eyes.
Looking into those clear eyes, Old Mrs. Gu instantly softened.
What's wrong with this child?
Grandpa Gu glanced at the little dumpling out of the corner of his eye, looked into Gu Tingxiao's eyes, and asked in an unfriendly tone.
"Her name is Anman, and she is my daughter."
"Nonsense! You haven't had a woman by your side for the past few years, so where did this daughter come from?"
“I brought An’an back not to gain your approval.”
The old man had a sharp eye for people, and he didn't believe that the little dumpling Gu Tingxiao brought back was a child of the Gu family.
There are too many questionable points.
"Is this how you talk to me?! Come with me to the study!"
The old man, with a strong voice, slammed the walnut in his hand onto the table, then went to his study with his hands behind his back.
Gu Tingxiao had anticipated that the old man might react this way, so he wasn't surprised.
"Go quickly."
Gu Xuexi is Gu Tingxiao's cousin. Although the two are not very close, they can still talk to each other. Seeing that the old man was angry, Gu Xuexi stepped forward and offered some advice.
Gu Tingxiao glanced at the bewildered little Anman beside his long legs and nodded slightly.
