Chapter 117 Photos

With nowhere to hide, Cheng watched as two long legs clattered toward the seat. After hesitating for a moment, she first put two tissues, each as big as a bed sheet, into her storage compartment, then gritted her teeth and squeezed into the slightly raised edge of the cushion, peeking out to look outside.

Fortunately, this 'teacher' is slim, so even if she sits, she probably won't sit completely on the cushion... right?

The little girl prayed silently, her eyes glancing out of the corner of her eye when she caught sight of a tissue stained with blood and mud in front of the chair leg. Although the tissue, taken from the spatial compartment, was shrunk even when unfolded, and perhaps looked like an ant in the 'teacher's' eyes, the red and white stains were still quite noticeable on the smooth black tile floor.

Judging by the cleanliness of the office, if the 'teacher' is intolerant of even a speck of dust, a tiny scrap of paper will give her away.

Cheng Shuang had a sudden inspiration and tore off the zombie-like creature from the top of his head and threw it down.

Just as she was looking away, the little girl's peripheral vision caught sight of the table and she saw the bespectacled girl peering down from the edge of the table.

Its location was clearly more dangerous, so dangerous that the little girl was furious.

This guy has far more experience dragging things down than scaring people!

If it weren't for the fact that the two of them were hiding in such an obvious and conspicuous spot, she wouldn't have changed her hiding place.

Of course, Cheng Shuang also had her own little schemes. She found that the girl with glasses was frighteningly clumsy at crucial moments, so she kept her distance from her during the most dangerous times to avoid being implicated.

But the little girl didn't want the girl with glasses to be caught by other ghosts.

It's not because I'm worried about it, but because I'm afraid it will immediately turn against me and betray me.

As for abandoning it and leaving first...

Cheng Shuang silently watched the bespectacled girl who immediately flashed a happy, sweet smile upon seeing him, waving her hands excitedly to greet her, her heart completely unmoved.

As the clattering sound drew closer, the little girl silently withdrew her head, continuing to ignore the silly, adorable ghost who was laughing.

I don't believe a ghost that spends all its time in a ghost school would be so fragile!

Cheng, cold-blooded and ruthless, lit a candle for it and began to ponder a retreat plan.

The Turtle Prime Minister is no good. The height and leg length of the two sides are not matched. She runs ten steps, but it is not as good as the other side moving his toes.

The screaming chicken is too noisy; the teachers' office should be kept quiet. Besides, she can't expect the 'teacher' to hold the screaming chicken to stay calm!

The suspension whistle is still cooling down, and it's louder than a screaming chicken.

As for her hometown in her dreams... the little girl really wouldn't use it unless it was in the most critical moment.

Similarly, the little girl in Lord Adorak's castle really wouldn't dare use it.

You only realize how little you have when you need it.

The teacher's long legs stopped in front of the desk. He opened a drawer, took out a porcelain plate containing a small corner of soap, and as he turned around, he glanced at the desktop, his gaze lingering there for a long time. So long that Cheng Shuang, who didn't care about the life or death of the girl with glasses, couldn't help but feel uneasy.

Then, she picked up the teacup with her clean hand, took a small sip, and from below, you could see that her eyes were lingering on the bookshelf, as if she was still considering which book to choose.

The little girl covered her mouth, because judging by the speed at which the girl with long legs walked over, even if she ran as fast as she could, she couldn't get back to the bookshelf. And the table was clean and tidy, with no messy clutter, so there was nowhere to hide.

Therefore, the girl with glasses should be in a state of being exposed under the 'teacher's' nose.

Why wasn't it discovered?

Cheng Shuang almost fell into conspiracy theories, but when her eyes looked at the teacup, she silently opened her mouth, and even the smell of the air seemed a little off.

The girl with glasses can turn herself into a mirror image; in an emergency, perhaps only the nearest teacup can conceal her form.

It jumps in, mirrors itself, and the 'teacher' can only see its own face through the 'water'.

...The little girl felt a bit nauseous, especially when she thought about how her bespectacled mother had struggled through mud and blood all the way, she felt even more like vomiting.

The cup was put down, and the 'teacher' seemed to merely moisten his throat. After leaving again, Cheng Shuang quickly climbed out from under the cushion and stared at the bespectacled girl who was perched on the edge of the cup, her wet head peeking out.

I never want to drink tea again, or any tea-based beverages.

The drawer wasn't closed properly, leaving a small gap.

The gloomy monster, which Cheng Shuang had thrown down and was using the tissue to cover itself, floated up slowly, first tossing the dirty tissue back into the little girl's arms, before drifting into the drawer.

The girl with glasses, wrapped in a tissue, jumped to the drawer, then stumbled and jumped onto the cushion. The large tissue absorbed the moisture from her clothes, leaving no trace, but the strong smell of tea emanating from her body was impossible to conceal.

Cheng Shuang squinted at her clumsy, stumbling movements, and a rare burst of sympathy struck her as she handed the girl with glasses a towel, gesturing for her to dry her hair.

Perhaps because she had seen too many cold looks from young girls, this ordinary gesture moved the girl with glasses to tears. She took the towel and was so excited that she wanted to hug her waist.

Cheng Shuang pushed her away ruthlessly, but the girl with glasses didn't care. She smiled sweetly and obediently began to dry her hair.

The little girl couldn't stay on the cushion for long. After the monster floated back, she used the large tissue she had stored in her spatial compartment to land on the ground again. This time, the monster wasn't shaking, since the bear cub was standing to the side, glaring at it menacingly.

Cheng Shuang tapped the brim of the sullen monster's hat and scolded, "From now on, I'll rename you Lazy Monster!"

The sullen creature let out a long, drawn-out sigh, clearly not satisfied with the name.

The girl with glasses was light in stature. When she jumped down, the bear cub caught her with the cloak of the zombie monster, then copied the zombie monster's movements and shook her directly to the ground.

Even so, the girl with glasses still smiled, her eyes crinkling, with a good-natured look that said, "You're fluffy and cute, I'm not angry."

The bear cub completely ignored it, standing like a protective tower behind the little girl. Only the sullen monster slumped to the ground, clutching its cloak and sighing incessantly.

Having witnessed the whole process, Cheng's eyes twitched. He felt that his doll was becoming more and more individualistic. What should he do?

The desk legs are L-shaped, wide and thick, perfect for hiding. The little girl sat behind the teddy bear's neck and ran to the inside of the L, hiding in a dark corner.

The freak explored the drawer with a hand-cranked flashlight, but it wasn't the exit; inside were only a few photos and teaching plans, among other documents.

Cheng Shuang saw the people in the photo through her consciousness.

They were either teachers or students, and the most numerous among them was a handsome man in a suit. He wore glasses, was refined and courteous, and had a gentle smile that seemed to radiate warmth.

His good looks were not aggressive at all, and he was very approachable. Even a wary young girl would find it hard to dislike him.

Cheng Shuang guessed that this man must be the male principal who returned from studying abroad mentioned in the book 'Time'.

Most notably, the last photo perfectly depicts a family of three.
