Chapter 521 Please Burn Incense

A small, chubby-faced little girl skipped and hopped over. Two strands of her long, curly red hair were tied back at her temples with a large white bow, making her look like a doll in a magazine.

Her pair of violet eyes were as beautiful as a poem or a painting. When she looked at Cheng Shuang, they were both innocent and mysterious.

One looked down, the other looked up, and they stared at each other. The chubby-faced little girl sucked on her knuckles, tilted her head and grinned, revealing two small, sharp shark teeth on either side. She was sweet, cool and cute all at once.

"Sister, have you seen my little bunny?"

Cheng Shuang decisively ignored it and continued climbing the tree.

"Sister?" the little girl called out in a pitiful voice, "Have you seen my little bunny?"

Cheng Shuang puffed out her cheeks, staring straight at the treetop; she wasn't going to take the bait. In a place like this, the rabbit had barely died and its owner was already looking for it. Ha, only an idiot would answer.

"Sister, are you not talking? Did you kill my little rabbit?" The little girl's voice became low. If Cheng Shuang looked over, she would see those dreamy purple eyes looking up at her, gradually deepening like a whirlpool.

"Sister, my little bunny died, you have to play with me!"

"Let's play hide-and-seek, you hide and I'll be the one to find, okay?"

"Then I'll start the countdown, ten, nine..."

Is it okay to just talk to yourself?

Cheng Shuang stopped climbing the tree with a helpless expression. Anyway, there were no crows at the top of the tree. Either they had flown away or they didn't exist at all.

She lowered her eyes slightly, glanced at the little girl who was lying in front of her big tree, covering her face with her arms, and sighed.

Then, before the other person could count to one, she greeted loudly, "Hello, little sister!"

The little girl tilted her head back proudly, "Sister? You're finally talking to me!"

Cheng Shuang immediately agreed with a smile, "Yes! Yes!" Almost as soon as she finished speaking, she leaped up, jumped down from the tree, and straddled the little girl's shoulders.

With a snap, the little girl's neck broke, but she still maintained a smug smile, her big purple eyes still shining brightly. She tilted her head and looked at Cheng Shuang, who was riding on her neck, with a sidelong glance.

"Sister...I...it hurts so much!" the little girl said haltingly, like a broken radio that had lost its power.

"Good girl!" Cheng Shuang stroked the little girl's fluffy, soft curly hair, her smile as wicked as a devil. "It won't hurt if I touch it!" Her hand then moved from the red hair to the little girl's chubby cheeks, cupped them in both hands, and with a forceful twist, she forced the little girl's head back into place.

"Does it not hurt anymore?"

Little girl: Thank you, I'm dead! Please burn incense!

A normal little girl would definitely be dead by now, but the one under Cheng's legs was still standing strong, and even moved her little head to cooperate, exclaiming in surprise, "Hey, it really doesn't hurt anymore!"

Cheng Shuang sneered, "To repay my sister, then carry her on your back!"

"Aren't you going to play hide-and-seek anymore?" the little girl asked innocently, her cold hands pressing down on Cheng Shuang's calf, so hard that her fingers were almost digging into the flesh. It was clear that she harbored resentment over the broken neck.

"I'm not playing anymore!" Cheng Shuang pinched the little girl's chubby cheeks, and kindly asked, "I don't like playing hide-and-seek! Otherwise, how about I take you to find your rabbit?"

The fingers gripping her leg tightened even more.

"Can my sister really help me find my rabbit?"

"Yes!" Cheng Shuang smiled and kicked her leg, hitting the little girl's lower abdomen with a thud that echoed.

The little girl gagged, and in pain, she subconsciously loosened her grip. Cheng Shuang took the opportunity to pull her leg out of the little girl's claws, and then crossed her legs, directly trapping them in the little girl's throat.

"Sweetie, I'll take you to find your rabbit!"

The little girl's face turned pale for a moment, and just as she was about to sneer, she heard, "The bunny is so cute, don't eat the bunny!" Then came a strange aroma, accompanied by the sound of someone eating.

The little girl tilted her head back and saw a rabbit head hanging in front of her, covered in bright red chili peppers, the numbing and spicy aroma filling the air.

The human riding on her head had a bright red mouth from eating, and even though it was incredibly spicy, he still slurped and continued to gnaw.

The little girl... shamefully shed painful tears from the corner of her mouth.

She wiped her mouth, took two steps forward angrily, and muttered with great pride, "What's so great about it? There are spicy rabbit heads everywhere on the food street."

"Are you sure the spicy rabbit head made by the homeless is the same as that made by a professional human chef?" Cheng Shuang asked casually, munching on a rabbit head.

"There are human chefs here too!"

"Are you sure the skills of those former maintainers haven't deteriorated?"

"I...I'm not sure!" The last three words were spoken with great force, revealing the little girl's honesty and her unwillingness to admit defeat.

Cheng Shuang slightly curved her lips and drawled out an "oh," "Want to eat this kind of rabbit?"

"Hmph!" the little girl snorted, her icy claws touching Cheng Shuang's calf, unconsciously rubbing it incessantly. "If you dare to give it to me, I dare to eat it!"

"That would be terrible!" Cheng Shuang sucked on her finger. "I dare not!" The last three words were also very forceful.

The little girl's face, full of expectation, suddenly went vacant with emptiness in her purple eyes...

Give me ten minutes%%%%%%%%%
