As soon as she stepped in, the lights around her suddenly dimmed, turning the room into a pitch-black night without stars or moon. Yet, she could hear varying depths of breathing, but otherwise, the room was eerily quiet.
A loud shout suddenly erupted.
"Watch out!" someone cried out.
"fan?!"
"Shuangshuang?!"
"Shaoyang?!"
Almost simultaneously, the sound of breathing dwindled to a faint whisper, and the people beside him seemed to have vanished, yet the faint sound of them calling to each other could still be heard.
Cheng Shuang suddenly turned around and 'saw' a hand on her shoulder.
