Chapter 566 A Dilemma

The water remained calm and still except for the splashes when the fish head and tail fell off. But the strange thing was that the smell of blood hadn't dissipated before the fish head and tail were gone.

It was as if something lurking in the deep pool had pulled the fallen fish to the darkest, most obscure depths.

The two containers did not continue to rise, but slowly moved sideways until they were close to the stone wall, where there were countless abandoned water tanks, covered in blood, piled up to the side.

Du Jun steadied himself, looked up and saw the green and white pipes break free from the water tank and rise slowly upwards. He threw a simulated airplane card at a stool, which made a soft engine sound and carried him to Long Zhiyan's side.

Long Zhiyan snorted dismissively, clearly feeling that it was too undignified to travel with such an inanimate object.

Neither of them were in the mood to deal with its little tantrum. Du Jun gestured to Cheng Shuang, pointing to the pile of abandoned water tanks.

Cheng Shuang looked up at the sky. Unlike the two of them, the three-section container in the middle was suspended in mid-air and was moving to both sides quickly and steadily, as if it had been unloaded somewhere. In the blink of an eye, the three empty containers fell down and automatically piled up on top of the abandoned container.

The little girl nodded to Du Jun. Since they had already separated, there was no need to go looking for them again. The structure of this place was roughly like this. With the consciousness of the petals, they could contact each other if they wanted to.

Although the other three had lost their memories, they had at least picked up their skills and cards, and she had given them all the necessary instructions. They were mature adults after all, and she didn't need to worry about them all the time.

Du Jun turned the stool under his buttocks, but when he turned his head to the side, he saw that Cheng Shuang was standing still, pointing in the opposite direction.

Du Jun frowned slightly, but ultimately, because he was not 'familiar' with her, he did not insist on persuading her and agreed to her choice to split up into two groups.

Watching the young man turn and fly away without pausing, Cheng Shuang raised an eyebrow. Ha, men, they're all smiles when they're familiar with you, but cold-faced monsters when they're not.

The little girl turned her head and patted Long Zhiyan's big, hard head. Long Zhiyan then flew to the location she specified.

The empty crates piled up there had been there for some time, and each crate had a layer of black bloodstains inside; the higher the crates were stacked, the fresher the bloodstains were.

Because the force of Dragon Flame's wings flapping is too great, the airflow passing around the empty box can easily cause the box to collide and make noise.

Cheng Shuang summoned the Zombie Monster, which floated around in front of each box, and when she stood inside a box, she would use a glow stick hidden in her clothes to illuminate the wall behind the box.

Not long after, she discovered a dark hole blocked by a large box. There were four small openings around the hole, and if Cheng Shuang sucked in her stomach and straightened her chest, she could squeeze through.

A gentle, fresh breeze blew through the cave, loudly proclaiming to Cheng Shuang that it led to the outside world.

She gave Luo An an instruction and threw it in. The moment Luo An landed, it swiftly ran towards the depths of the cave entrance.

The little girl quietly turned around. The darkness made it impossible for her to tell if Du Jun was still there. She didn't think much of it and patiently waited for Luo An's reply.

Almost half an hour later, Luo An sent word that it had seen a waterfall and a forest, seemingly at the bottom of a valley.

Cheng Shuang decisively swallowed the flower petals that Si Hai had given her, contacted Si Hai with her consciousness, told him about her discovery, and received his feedback.

It turns out that there was a transport link at the location where Sihai and the others stopped. They were transported outside along with the fish pieces, and during the process, they almost got violently washed. But that's just a brief mention.

Contrary to what Luo An had told her, the landing point for the three of them was on a lake, and next to the lake was a modern city.

There was no one around the lake; they hid behind the fish pieces and kept observing the situation.

Cheng Shuang pursed her lips. After learning that Liao Yuewei and Sihai had just communicated and had already slaughtered the fish according to the steps, she took a breath and forced herself into the cave entrance.

As Luo An had said, the further in you go, the more open it becomes, and sure enough, the little girl switched from a bicycle to an amphibious vehicle.

The ground was flat, but there were cables overhead that looked similar to the white pipes used to transport water tanks. The further she walked, the more open the ground became, and eventually she saw light.

The white light changed from a single point to a larger point.

The cave entrance is just a stone's throw away.

Just as Cheng Shuang put the car away, she suddenly heard a rumbling sound behind her. When she realized it was the sound of a machine starting up, she suddenly felt a gust of wind rushing towards her from the depths of the cave.

Her face paled slightly, and she instinctively cried out, "Baby Bear!"

The teddy bear suddenly enlarged, swung its arm, and lightly lifted her up, throwing her out of the hole. In that instant, the little girl, whose body was shaped like a shrimp, faced inward, her pupils shrinking as the empty water tank was rapidly moved out and crashed directly into the baby bear.

The baby bear was completely unaware...

"careful!"

Cheng Shuang's voice shattered in the air. She flew out of the cave and fell into the waterfall below with a torrent, then plunged into the water.

Because she subconsciously wanted to remind the bear cub, the little girl forgot to contact Luo An and didn't even have time to release the Dragon Flame.

Upon impact with the water's surface, she was tossed about by the raging current. Coupled with her frail, small physique, the force of the water entering her mouth and nose caused her eyes to roll back and she to faint.

Just as she sank into the water, the empty box slid from the cave into the air, disintegrated into several pieces of glass in mid-air, slid down the waterfall to the pool, and then flowed downstream from the pool.

Fortunately, Cheng Shuang was thrown into the deep part of the pool first by the impact, otherwise she would definitely have been hit by the glass. However, the seemingly heavy glass did not sink. Instead, dense bubbles rose from the glass, and it was these bubbles that held it up.
