Suddenly, a ferocious tiger's roar echoed through the lush green canyon, startling the primitive birds and insects, which lacked intelligence, into scattering in all directions.
Soon, the relatively low bushes rustled, and several large, striped tigers emerged from them.
They were majestic and imposing, like powerful bosses patrolling the streets, enough to make all animals retreat in fear. But the next second, several tigers began to shake wildly as if they had an epileptic seizure.
In no time, all the tiny needles embedded in their fur were flung out. They were so focused on flinging that they didn't even notice another smaller tiger scrambling out of the bushes. The lagging tiger rolled away, howling in pain, "Help me check, hahaha, look, it pricked my butt, it's so itchy!"
All the tigers froze, turning back in disbelief to look at the silly tiger that had started chasing its own tail, exchanging bewildered glances.
"Come quick and help!"
Tiger, the team leader, immediately roared back, "Who gave you permission to sneak out?"
The silly tiger had no interest in answering them; it was chasing after the position of the tail, almost turning itself into a blur.
The lead tiger finally couldn't stand it any longer, closed its eyes, and shook its head, saying, "Go help it."
The big guy in the second position took the order. He swatted the silly tiger that kept running away down with one paw, and pressed his other paw on the bewildered tiger's face. He held his breath with extreme disgust and pulled out the thin thorn that was stuck in the wrong place.
Silly Tiger nimbly rolled away from the tiger claws, got up, shook his fur, and laughed with relief, "I reported to my uncle!"
Whether they reported it or not, it was too late. Seeing the little silly tiger's bright smile, the leader tiger was furious. They had been on their way all night, and it would be a waste of time to escort it back.
With no other choice, the leader of the tigers said fiercely, "Tiger Master, my team has three rules. If you are willing to follow them, then I will let you follow. Otherwise, I will banish you from the South Canyon forever. You should know that the leader hates abuse of power for personal gain and will never protect certain animals."
Si Hu's smile faded, and he nodded quickly. "I know, Uncle Ling! No, I will definitely obey, Captain Ling!"
Seeing that the young tiger in front of him had straightened his attitude, Captain Ling lowered his voice with satisfaction, "First rule: obey orders!"
Si Hu puffed out his chest and repeated loudly, "First rule: obey orders! In the name of the beast, I will obey!"
"The second condition..." Ling Hu once again gathered his strength and spoke under Si Hu's increasingly solemn expression, "Obey orders!"
Just as Si Hu was about to speak with great confidence, he choked on his saliva and asked suspiciously, "Captain Ling, the third rule isn't that you also have to obey orders, is it?"
Captain Ling denied it seriously, "Of course not."
Seeing its displeasure, Si Hu quickly made a promise and then looked expectantly at the tall, robust, and colorful tiger in front of him.
“The third point!” Captain Ling said solemnly, “The captain’s orders must be carried out. If there are any objections, please follow the first two points.”
Si Hu: ...
Uncle Ling must have been tormented by Aunt Ling too much, which is why he came up with these three bizarre rules...
The third, lean tiger stepped forward to remind them, "It's getting late. If we delay any longer, we won't be able to reach Elephant Forest tonight."
Captain Ling glanced at the sky, his face tightening as he ordered, "Team A, move out!"
Several tigers turned their heads and clicked the metal shoulder pad button on their right shoulders. A pair of folding wings, gleaming with silver light, unfolded from the shoulder pad straps. In an instant, a line of tigers took to the sky. The silver wings and silver armor allowed the tigers to blend completely into the sky as they flew higher and higher. Apart from the occasional shimmering light reflected off them, there was nothing unusual about them.
Cheng Shuang, strolling through the underground Elephant Fortress, was unaware that a group of tigers was gradually approaching the base. She sat on the cat female's bent arm, holding the soft cat tail, and stood tall and proud amidst the envious and jealous gazes of the male beastmen.
If it weren't for her concern for Big Axe, she would really be reluctant to part with her domineering and capable yet soft and cuddly cat sister.
A century is not a short time, and Cheng Shuang wasn't sure where the Great Axe was. However, through her investigations of Xiangbao, she vaguely learned from Sister Cat about some stories stemming from the genetic virus, or perhaps history would be a more accurate description. The young girl lowered her eyes, concealing her complicated thoughts. When Sister Cat mentioned the series of incidents caused by Tiger Legion, she even showed a hint of indifference.
“My axe is very young, not the old axe you’re talking about.” When Sister Cat casually mentioned the old axe that Cheng Shuang was looking for, the little girl raised her head, as if an animal’s achievements were related to its age.
"Then where is your tiger father? Where did he go?" Sister Cat's eyes flickered. "You know, carnivores have long since disappeared." To get to the bottom of her doubts, a little concealment was nothing.
Cat Sister tilted her head and stared at the little pet on her arm, hoping to get an answer from her not-so-bright little brain.
Cheng Shuang said blankly, "I don't know! That's why I came to look for it!"
Both the person and the cat achieved the status of being dramatic geniuses; in a word: pretentious.
In the end, Cat Sister was still misled by her habitual thinking, believing that the human pet didn't have the intelligence to lie, but she also felt really unwilling to accept it, as the appearance of this little human pet and her companion was too coincidental.
So, I took her to the last stop.
This is a room dedicated to storing images of light and shadow. Animals imprinted in 3D images walk around you, occasionally passing through your body, as if history has been frozen in this moment.
"There is very little information about Mr. Liehu. He seemed to keep a very low profile before. It was only after the gene virus went out of control and broke out that news came out that he saved hundreds of carnivores and some omnivores."
