Unlike when they came, the tigers did not choose to leave from the sky.
The aircraft is not yet capable of carrying passengers while protected from wind. Linghu cannot guarantee that a sudden gust of wind might knock the two children off during high-altitude flight.
“Let’s take a detour!” suggested the third strong tiger, who was using the brain on its arm to find the most feasible route on land. “Two thousand kilometers ahead is the territory of hyenas, who are good helpers to cold-blooded animals! But if we turn left and go around Lake Baikal, we will reach the Marga Plain, where there are only some small, nomadic confederations.”
Although Yugoslavia was not afraid of any organization, it was not so arrogant as to think that a few tigers could sweep away all enemies.
Ling Hu lowered his eyes in thought, and Si Hu, who had been following him around like a puppy, spoke up, "How about we let the little pet sit on my arm and fly away?"
Linghu ignored it, and naturally didn't notice that its nephew wasn't looking at it while speaking; instead, his bright tiger eyes were fixed on the little girl on its head.
Cheng Shuang ignored it. Although this guy looked most similar to Big Axe in appearance, with a standard big round tiger face and a domineering king-shaped pattern with distinct black and gold markings, he was a bit silly in personality.
As soon as it came out of the elephant bunker, it excitedly licked it, giving Uncle Ling a good licking with its saliva.
Fortunately, the little girl remained vigilant until she saw the big axe and dodged away instantly; otherwise, she would have had to travel with sticky drool all over her.
The thought of this scenario made Cheng Shuang even less inclined to talk to Si Hu.
Besides, Si Hu was too unfriendly to Uncle Du!
Si Hu knew, of course, that the little human was indifferent to it, but it was young and thick-skinned. It persistently lingered around its Uncle Ling, wagging its tiger tail and fawning over him in a way that made all the other tigers unable to bear to look at it.
Wow, even the little tyrant of the South Canyon has his downfall. What goes around comes around.
"How fast is your aircraft?" Cheng Shuang thought for a moment. Ling Hu had explained to her that her father's old illness had flared up and he was bedridden, which was why he couldn't come to pick her up in person. Hearing this, the girl didn't want to waste any time on the road, let alone take a detour.
"Is there a separate anti-spy device that I can temporarily carry or install on my body?" she then asked.
Ling Hu was slightly puzzled, but he did not underestimate the other party's problem because of his status as a human pet.
"When the aircraft is flying steadily at high altitude, its speed is about 500 kilometers per hour." It turned its head and ordered the burly tiger with Du Lushui on its head, "Get a signal jamming device."
The burly tiger pressed the brain on his arm, and a small patch immediately popped out of the armor on his shoulder. Ling Hu pinched the patch and handed it to Cheng Shuang, saying, "This is fine."
Cheng Shuang took the metal plate the size of a porcelain plate and released the Dragon Flame.
"What is this thing?" Si Hu, who was focused on the cute little pet, was startled first. The ferocious tiger roared and was about to strike Long Zhiyan with its claws.
Dragon Flame, impatient, unleashed a breath of dragon breath without flames. The scorching heat immediately made Si Hu retreat. Cheng Shuang, fearing that its playful antics might actually hurt the tiger, stopped it in time.
Several large axe-wielding creatures stared at the strange, bird-like but not quite bird-like thing, exchanging bewildered glances...
What kind of magical creature is this? Is it a harpy-bodied, bird-winged lizard monster?
In the South Canyon, lush vegetation thrives. The soft morning light shines on the petals, causing dewdrops to roll and fall to the ground with a soft patter.
"Chief, go back inside and get some sleep!" A Doberman Pinscher with erect ears stood like a warrior, flanking a weary old man lying at the treehouse door. Its posture was upright, and its tone was full of reassurance, "It's been a day and two nights. According to the signals transmitted by the quantum computer, your friend should be at the Elephant Base, tens of thousands of kilometers away. The elite team set off early yesterday morning, and barring any unforeseen circumstances, they will definitely be heading back today."
This old axe-wielder was quite old. He had fine white downy hair on the sides of his ears, and a centipede scar on one side of his fleshy cheek where the tiger's fur had been removed. His already fierce face looked even more terrifying and unapproachable.
It shook its head slightly, and even though it was not in good spirits, the voice that came out was as firm as ever, "I'll wait for her here."
Instead of continuing to persuade him, the Doberman instructed his subordinates, through Vinna, to fetch another clean, dry towel to wipe the dew off the leader's body.
The dew is heavy as it deepens, so as not to catch a cold.
Cheng Shuang was unaware of her father's anxious feelings, but she was just as worried. She knew that if Old Axe's injuries were truly minor, he would have come to pick her up personally. She could hear the fleeting sadness in Ling Hu's eyes when he mentioned this.
Protected by the shield skill, the tiger and the man accelerated through the air, never stopping except to relieve themselves. By the time dawn broke, the dense rainforest was already beneath their feet.
Wooden houses are scattered in the rainforest, and a large, brightly colored axe lies in front of one of the unassuming houses.
Suddenly, as if sensing something, it abruptly stood up, its lazy posture instantly transforming into that of a real beast poised to pounce.
It opened its tiger-like eyes, which were not angry but majestic, and looked up at the sky. Through the gaps in the trees, a small black dot could be seen in the azure sky, gradually revealing its shape as it approached.
"Warning! Warning! A suspected Giant Eagle Clan scout is circling high in the sky! Warning! Warning!"
The Doberman cautiously pressed the communication button on its brain, its body arching spontaneously, baring its teeth and emitting a threatening growl.
It understands the leader's temperament. At times like these, the leader is even less willing to return to the base to avoid the crisis. It can only do its best to prevent the enemy from landing and glean some clues.
Almost instantly, several large tree branches in the towering forest began to creak and groan, making a mechanical grinding sound. Upon closer inspection, they turned out to be cannon barrels that had become one with the trees.
