Chapter 76 The Decisive Vote

The winner of the horror board game will be chosen by the spectators, while the loser will be hanged.

Cheng Shuang couldn't help but blurt out, "Can't we choose the ghost in advance?"

The air was completely still, attracting only a few probing glances. Clearly, the 'room' did not accept choosing how to end the game beforehand; everything had to be done step by step.

The little girl's gaze lingered on Number One and Number Eight, noticing that they remained calm and unperturbed by Number Five's predicament. Her gaze then settled on Number Seven.

Number Seven was tense, his eyes slightly lowered, staring intently at the table while his gaze flickered incessantly.

Could he know one of the two people at the table?

Lie Fu's ability to mimic Hei Zi Shan's speaking style and tell stories is a way of revealing information to these acquaintances. Du Jun is certain that he can deduce the other people's positions. Hei Zi Shan has a "Draw and I Guess" card, and if Du Jun knows this, he will know it too.

Cheng Shuang closed her eyes and recalled who rang the bell for her after she finished telling the story.

Number 1, Number 5, Number 8, and Number 10.

Her identity was quite easy to identify; she was the only person on the entire ship who was less than 1.4 meters tall.

Needless to say, Number Two almost never rang the bell for anyone. Number Nine and Number Two had a somewhat hostile relationship. These two gave Cheng Shuang a vague sense of familiarity, not the kind of familiarity one would have with close friends, but rather their personalities and ways of doing things, carrying the same kind of condescending contempt, much like the disdain of a veteran for a protector.

Number Six, on the other hand, was the person who rang the bell the most, second only to Cheng Shuang.

Number Four is cautious, speaks concisely, and shows no signs of anything amiss.

Number Five's style seems similar to Number Ten's at first glance, but Black Fan is eloquent and shouldn't have difficulty telling a story, stumbling and unable to form coherent sentences.

Number Seven dealt her a blow that was almost fatal.

Xia Guang and Si Rui are in the same room. Xia Guang may not be able to notice when Si Rui is acting strangely, so she is very likely to be trapped in the room.

Dolls, porcelain dolls—at first, the doll was Mommy's doll, and the porcelain doll was the doll's porcelain doll. After the lyrics "hahaha," it became Mommy's porcelain doll, and the porcelain doll's doll…

What does it mean when the dolls and the porcelain dolls switch places?

Could it be... that Si Rui forced Xia Guang to change her identity?

If he can force Xia Guang to change her identity, he can threaten Xia Guang to use methods to attack him.

If number seven is not four-stamened but rather a rosy glow, then four-stamened would be between number five and number six.

The little girl suddenly looked up at the table when she realized this.

Two flagpoles were planted in the center, and the two tiny figures, each twenty centimeters tall, had given up struggling and were dejectedly waiting for their fate to befall them.

The red and black flags moved automatically without wind, and the game began.

'Ding! Please answer quickly: How many people and ghosts appeared in the fourth horror story?'

Upon hearing this question, all eight people sitting in their seats were stunned.

The topic was actually related to the story they told.

The red flag immediately flashed red light, and the little figure tied to it spoke, "...Shouldn't it be six friends and six ghosts?"

'Correct, ding! How many ghosts are in the first story?'

A flash of black light appeared. "Two."

'Correct, ding, number…'

Cheng Shuang was a little confused. Wasn't the first story about a protagonist named "me" and a female ghost who jumped off a building? She thought for a moment and suddenly remembered a detail in the story: at the end, the protagonist "screamed like a woman." Perhaps it wasn't just "screaming," but rather that his body had already belonged to the female ghost? And his soul had become another "ghost"?

It's terrifying to think about.

The little girl shuddered, but in a moment, she answered all ten questions. The red flag was one move behind, and there was a big 3 in front of her feet, indicating that she had answered three questions correctly.

The number 7 is at the foot of the black flag.

'Ding! A thousand people will have a thousand Hamlets in their eyes; different stories offer different perspectives. Please choose your winner!'

Two lamps appeared in front of each person.

Some pressed the button decisively, while others hesitated.

Cheng Shuang was the one who was indecisive.

This is a trap!

The number in front of the flagpole has already given a clear answer: it's the black flag.

But most of the questions are related to ghosts, because only ghosts truly understand ghosts.

The winner of the black flag is undoubtedly Shiru, the demon.

If the black flag is chosen, it means that Si Rui has won the game. Does that mean that all the remaining people are losers?

If they don't choose her, it might mean that they, the spectators, have overlooked the correct option and have automatically lost the game.

This is a battle disguised as a game, where the only opposing sides are humans and demons.

Cheng Shuang hesitated for only a few seconds before all seven people pressed the button: three supporters were on the red flag, and four were on the black flag.

The crucial vote is in the young girl's hands.

The numbers on their masks disappeared the instant they changed positions. It was definitely Black Fan No. 10 who was able to get the clue in advance, and so on.

Facing seven pairs of eyes and two burning gazes on the table, the little girl reached for the button and muttered to herself, "Let's choose the black flag."

The man on the red flag felt despair. His head drooped inexplicably, almost to his chest. Just when everyone thought he was about to unleash a powerful move to save himself, the number under his feet slowly changed to four.

It turned out that the little girl had read out the black flag, but had selected the red button instead.

The man in the black flag raised his head with a drastic movement, his gaze fixed firmly on Cheng Shuang. His eyes, hidden behind a veil, seemed to spit fire. Even though his face was obscured, one could sense his extraordinary anger.

Cheng Shuang replied innocently, "The red flag wins, the black flag is a ghost, is there a problem?"
