Female cats are very perceptive; she had been watching the flawed Si Hu closely, and now she revealed a meaningful smile.
"Captain Tiger, you don't think you can take away our ownership of our pets with just a few words, do you?" the female cat asked.
"Of course not." Ling Hu raised his tiger head. "Friends don't need to ask for it."
Before the elephant leader could say anything, a standard animal phrase came out of Linghu's mouth: "Baby, your axe daddy has been waiting for you to come home!"
Neither the elephant leader nor the female cat took it seriously. The fact that orcs can speak human language because they carry human genes does not mean that human pets can learn animal language.
Since the two pets arrived at the base, they have communicated entirely in human language. Occasionally, when the leader uses animal language to give instructions to his subordinates, they never seem to react at all.
The elephant leader never expected that Du Lushui really couldn't speak any animal language, but he could understand it, let alone Cheng Shuang, who had studied it diligently.
Si Hu didn't believe it either. He knew all too well what kind of people in the South Canyon were. He had longed for a pet to chat and play with, but these people had worn down his patience. He was often scolded by his elders for being naughty because of them. His disappointment grew day by day until he now deeply hated them.
But then it caught sight of an even smaller figure, hopping and leaping, and somehow it jumped from the elephant behind it onto the elephant leader's head, greeting it in broken animal language, "Hello, how is Axe-Baba?"
Not to mention Si Hu and the elephants, even Ling Hu, who was mentally prepared, was startled.
The air fell silent.
The little child had a rosy face, and the thin human standing next to her was much taller than her. Her little dress with an animal print made her hands and feet look even whiter and plumper, making her look like a lively little white ball.
