She didn't deliberately use any tricks; she just wanted to find an excuse to keep him. "Shyness is a common trait among women; there's no need to learn it from anywhere."
Since she didn't object, he didn't mention leaving again, waiting to see her reaction. However, she remained silent, and Hongli grew slightly impatient.
"What? Not ready yet?"
“I…” Su Yushan blinked, too embarrassed to look up, “I don’t know what to do.”
“You’ve tried before.” He remembered that he had taught her how to do it when she had her period, but she only did it once and then refused to try again.
Recalling the scene vaguely, Su Yushan became even more embarrassed. "It's been too long, I don't remember it very well, and I'm out of practice."
"Practice makes perfect, you'll get it after a few tries." As he spoke, Hongli took her hand and once again taught her how to please him with her nimble fingers.
Her movements were unusually clumsy and unskilled. At first, he was able to remain calm, but with her so close and the familiar scent of jasmine wafting over again, he was easily captivated.
Hongli couldn't resist any longer. As if possessed, he slowly moved closer to her ear, gently sucking on her earlobe and tracing her delicate earlobe, which made Su Yushan moan softly.
Sensing that something was wrong with her, she felt a little flustered. She clearly no longer loved Hongli, so why did she still have strange feelings when faced with his flirting?
The nervous Su Yushan kept telling herself not to be alarmed, that women are human too, and that they also have needs.
Even though she had locked her heart away, her body was not her own. Su Yushan, who had been taught dogma by him, became increasingly sensitive, and he knew very well where her weakness lay. Whenever he touched her ear, she couldn't bear it. This was a normal, natural reaction, unrelated to love, and there was no need to care.
Not only was she surprised, but even Hongli found himself acting strangely. He should hate her, but upon hearing her sweet cry, his heart couldn't help but tremble, becoming utterly tender.
Seeing that she seemed to be having a hard time, Hongli chuckled, his voice unusually tinged with a hint of pleasure, "Just say what you want, and I have a way to make your wish come true."
No! She didn't want to! Su Yushan would never admit it, much less ask for his help. Blushing, she politely declined, "I...I'm fine, just don't touch my ears anymore, I can bear it."
He did as she wished, not touching her ears, but he deliberately mischievously rubbed his high, straight nose gently against her neck, his warm breath spreading evenly across her slender, fair neck, making Su Yushan even more restless. Her grip unconsciously tightened slightly, and Hongli hissed softly, punishing her by planting a small red flower on her neck.
"Su Yushan, you want my life..."
"I didn't mean to, who told you to... um..." She couldn't utter a complete sentence after that, all her words were broken into fragments by him.
He patiently kissed her ears, eyes, and face. When he moved to her lips, he paused for a moment, forcibly suppressing the desire in his heart, but ultimately kissed her.
In Hongli's view, one only touches the lips when one loves someone. Now that he no longer loves her, he should not kiss her lips anymore.
As attentive as Su Yushan was, she could naturally notice the subtle changes, but she didn't care. She slowly closed her eyes and persisted in helping him relieve the pain, hoping that it would end soon.
When the flames subsided and the passion in Hongli's eyes faded, he returned to his cold indifference. There were no sweet words exchanged between them, and the atmosphere was unusually tense.
Su Yushan was extremely sleepy and had no time to worry about such trivial matters. She put on her coat, got out of the tent, washed her hands, and then went to sleep.
Looking at her reclining figure, he subconsciously raised his hand, as before, wanting to ruffle her hair. But when he raised it halfway up, he froze. After hesitating for a moment, he finally withdrew his hand.
Is this the situation he wanted? No, but he was exhausted and didn't want to coax her anymore.
She was a heartless woman; no matter how good you were to her, she would never be moved. Her gentleness was all an act, and he couldn't figure out what she was really thinking.
He would not be devoted to her again until he could see her true heart.
Nothing happened that night. The next morning, Su Yushan still felt soreness in her hands and her hands trembled as she held chopsticks. Chang Yue simply gave her a spoon instead, so she wouldn't have to exert herself too much.
After breakfast, she wanted to go for a walk, but when she reached the courtyard gate, she was stopped by the guards who wouldn't let her go out.
Chang Yue asked curiously, "Fourth Master only said that outsiders are not allowed to come and go at will, but he did not say that the princess is not allowed to go out. The princess is just going to the back garden to admire the flowers. If you are worried, you are welcome to follow her."
Even so, the guard still refused to let them go. "Since the Fourth Prince has not given any instructions, this humble servant cannot let them go. If the princess wants to leave the courtyard, she should ask the Fourth Prince for permission first."
She went to the study yesterday, but today she can't leave. Is this a rule that Hongli just gave her? Does he distrust her that much?
Su Yushan thought the mansion was her cage, but unexpectedly the cage became smaller and smaller, and she was trapped in Huatang Pavilion. She thought that she didn't even have the chance to admire the flowers in the back garden, so she could only admire them in the courtyard.
She hadn't paid attention to it a few days ago, but when she turned back today to admire the asters, she discovered that the patch of asters in the corner had disappeared!
"Hey? Where are the flowers?"
"This..." Chang Yue stammered, unable to answer, seemingly in a difficult position. Su Yushan thought for a moment and guessed the answer, "Was it Fourth Master who ordered it to be pulled out?"
Seeing Chang Yue nod, Su Yushan smiled faintly and didn't ask any more questions.
After all, it was her who wanted to leave. Once she left, Huatang Pavilion would no longer be her residence, so it was perfectly normal for Hongli to want to remove Ziyuan. She had already been so ruthless; shouldn't he be allowed to vent his anger?
It is clear that Hongli had already decided to erase her from his memory, but she just ran back on her own, which is really annoying!
