Chapter 18 Jin Minjing Punishes Su Yushan

Clutching her wrist tightly, Chang Yue refused to be falsely accused and retorted directly, "It was clearly you who pricked me with a needle!"

Rolling her eyes, Xin'er pouted and denied, "Who stabbed you? This is your fault, don't frame me!"

Xi Lan couldn't stand the attitude of Jin Gege and her servant, and felt indignant on Su Yushan's behalf, "Today is Sister Gao's birthday. Jin Gege, you deliberately caused trouble and embarrassed Sister Su. Did you even consider Sister Gao's feelings?"

Jin Minjing had her reasons for daring to do this: "If Su Yushan hadn't been ignorant of the rules and worn tourmaline beyond her rank, how could these troubles have arisen? I kindly reminded her, but instead of being grateful, she made it my fault?"

The villain accuses first, and that's exactly what happened. Xi Lan didn't care at all and retorted loudly, "We're not deaf. Sister Yu Shan thanked you, but you're being aggressive and ordering your maid to take her hairpin. That's really going too far!"

Witnessing this farce, Gao Xiuwen frowned, but she couldn't openly criticize Jin Minjing. She could only try to mediate, saying, "We are all sisters, equals. Let's talk things out and not fight."

Su Yushan was extremely grateful that Xilan was willing to speak up for her. She already knew that Jin Minjing disliked her, but she didn't expect him to nitpick and make a scene in public. Su Yushan was angry, but also felt sorry for Gao Gege, so she stood up and apologized to her.

"I am truly sorry to have disturbed Sister Gao's birthday banquet. My appearance is disheveled and I am not presentable. I must go back and do my makeup first."

Women care most about their appearance, and Gao Xiuwen understood this and did not stop her. She even told her to do her makeup before coming over.

The banquet ended badly because of Kim Min-jung's meddling. Su Yu-shan was in a bad mood and didn't say a word on the way back. She sighed to herself that Kim Min-jung was just too idle in the backyard, which was why she had to cause trouble.

She thought that as long as she behaved herself and didn't cause trouble, her life would be peaceful. Little did she know that a tourmaline hairpin would cause such a disaster.
