Demin took the silver note, chuckled, then turned and left, handing the silver note to Fourth Master.
Hongli glanced at it and chuckled, "Plucking feathers from a miser? That's quite rare!" Then Hongli waved his hand, not taking it, "You keep it! Do whatever you want with it."
After a moment's thought, Demin did not refuse and put it away for the time being.
Having resolved this matter, the next major headache for Li Yu was figuring out how to get Aunt Liu to accept him.
This matter had to be brought up sooner or later; it couldn't be kept secret any longer. So Li Yu decided to take a day off, bring eight large gifts, and go to Yun Fang's house for a meal.
At first, when Aunt Liu saw Li Yu coming and so politely bringing her so many things, she was all smiles.
