He could always come up with an excuse if he wanted to. Giving him a reproachful look, Su Yushan's cheeks flushed, and she clarified in a sweet voice, "I had no expectations; this is clearly a threat."
Hongli did not deny it, and frankly admitted, "Even if it is a threat, what can you do to me?"
He coaxed and threatened her to tell the truth, but Su Yushan didn't believe him. "Even if I tell you, you won't let me go, so why should I tell you?"
Hongli, feeling touched, smiled slightly. "You seem to know me quite well."

The next morning, Chang Yue went out to the laundry quarters. Yun Song saw that she was carrying a basket of clothes, so he didn't disturb her. When she returned, he called her back, looked into her eyes, and said gently:

"Let me marry Ning Shuang? On what grounds? I have never touched her. It was her own trickery. You know this, Princess."
Su Yushan sighed helplessly, "I believe you, but the Fujin doesn't. She believed Ning Shuang's words and is convinced that you bullied Ning Shuang, and she wants you to take responsibility for Ning Shuang. There's nothing I can do!"
