Chapter 293 Yu Shan Admits Defeat

My sister-in-law, He Yuning, rarely comes here. Today she requested an audience, so I guessed it must be something important. Su Yushan then ordered someone to invite her in.

Hongli had been drinking outside at noon and was feeling a bit dizzy. He didn't want to continue socializing, so he went inside to rest. Su Yushan, on the other hand, was outside receiving He Yunning.

He Yuning brought many gifts when she arrived. After putting the gifts down, she looked worried. Su Yushan asked with a smile,

"What troubles you, sister-in-law? Did Jiafeng bully you? If you've been wronged, just tell me, and I'll definitely stand up for you."

With a deep sigh, He Yuning said, "He didn't bully me, but we disagreed on some things and had a fight. Yesterday, when he came home, he suddenly told me that there had been war going on in the Dzungar Khanate and that he wanted to go to the front lines to fight."

Jiafeng has only ever been a bodyguard and has never served in the army. I am worried that he may be in danger. I beg you, sister, to speak to the Fourth Prince and ask him to persuade Jiafeng to stay in the capital!”

Before Su Yushan could respond, she heard a noise from the inner room, and then saw Hongli lift the curtain and come out, hands behind his back, saying loudly:

"I know about this. It was my idea to send Jiafeng to the army."
