With a deep sigh, He Yuning said, "He didn't bully me, but we disagreed on some things and had a fight. Yesterday, when he came home, he suddenly told me that there had been war going on in the Dzungar Khanate and that he wanted to go to the front lines to fight."
Su Yushan asked curiously, "Why are the palace guards doing such good jobs, and now they're going to fight in a war?"
“He said the court was conscripting soldiers recently and he wanted to report it. I told him not to go, but he said his mind was made up. I couldn’t persuade him, so I came to you, sister, and asked you to persuade Jiafeng not to let him go to the front line.”
Although He Yuning was a woman, she had spent a lot of time in the restaurant and often overheard customers discussing things outside, including the Dzungar War.
