Xin'er tried to dodge, but it was too late. A sharp pain shot through her chest, making her break out in a cold sweat.
She couldn't believe that she died such a tragic death at such a young age. She was filled with hatred, but she couldn't blame anyone else. She could only blame herself for being so foolish and trusting Kim Min-jung!
She always regarded Kim Min-jung as her master and the person she trusted most. "Find a doctor to treat her; we must save her life!"
Upon receiving the order, Li Yu immediately went out to fetch a doctor. Su Jiafeng followed him out and saw Xin'er lying unconscious on the ground outside the door. His heart softened, and he wanted to pick her up, but his elder brother stopped him.
"She's an accomplice in the murder of Yushan, why do you care about her?"
Speechless, Su Jiafeng stammered, "I...I was just afraid that if she died, there would be no one to testify!"
Despite his words, his elder brother still forbade him to go, saying, "Someone will take care of her; you don't need to lift a finger."
Demin followed closely behind, took Xin'er away, and settled her in her room.
With her elder brother and sister watching from the side, Su Jiafeng dared not be too presumptuous and could only stop there, not following any further.
Fifteen minutes later, Jin Minjing, who had just returned to the mansion by carriage, was taken to Hongli.
At that moment, Chen Feng had made a mistake. He was about to return to report to Princess Jin when he noticed the guards of the mansion beside her from a distance. Su Yushan couldn't help but think that Jin Minjing must know that Xin'er was seriously injured, unconscious, and had no one to confront, which was why he dared to be so arrogant!
Su Jiafeng was speechless and could only make a harsh statement: "Xin'er has been assassinated and is unconscious. She cannot be confronted for the time being. Once she wakes up, everything will be judged."
What? Xin'er isn't dead? Why did he say Xin'er was only unconscious? "If you don't want anyone to know, then don't do it in the first place. Once Xin'er wakes up, your crimes will be exposed!"
Ignoring Su Yushan's accusations, Jin Minjing turned to Hongli, her tearful eyes filled with grievance, and pleaded in a sweet voice, "Fourth Master, I really didn't plot against Su Gege. You can't listen to outsiders' nonsense, you must stand up for me!"
