"What would you do if you were in this situation?"
Yu Chan was not yet married, and she knew very little about matters of the heart, relying only on her feelings and imagination. She rested her chin on her hand and pondered:
"If I were to marry an ordinary man, I would certainly hope that he would be devoted to me. But if he were a prince, given his status, it would seem impossible for him to be devoted to me. All he could do would probably be to spoil me a little more."
If I've already fallen for him, I think I should try to accept it! After all, leaving is impossible; I have no other choice. So I can only accept fate's arrangement. Yu Chan's words were like a needle piercing Su Yushan's heart. She kept reminding herself that she had let go on the day of Hongli's wedding, and that it was impossible for her to like him again.
"I'm not unhappy!"

However, true letting go only brings relief, not pain. Yu Chan's words hit the nail on the head. Su Yushan's carefully constructed facade of strength crumbled, and her heart full of bitterness turned into hot tears that instantly welled up in her eyes.
"Then what do you suggest I do? I don't want to be like this, torturing myself and him, but I can't ignore the fact that he has another woman. Yu Chan, I'm really in so much pain!"
Su Yushan was in tears, sobbing uncontrollably, which broke Yu Chan's heart. She couldn't make the decision for her sister; she only knew that if some things were destined to be unchangeable, the only thing to do was to forcefully change one's own mindset.
"Then weave a dream for yourself. As long as he is in Huatang Pavilion, treat him as if he belongs only to you. As for how many women he has, or who he will sleep with after leaving Huatang Pavilion, that is his business. You have to learn to ignore it. Thinking too much will only make you more miserable. It's better to keep it simple and think positively."
