The Empress Dowager was a very easy person to talk to. With the help of Consort De, Yihua and Ninth Princess Consort delivered the carefully packaged wine. Looking at the colorful bottles, she felt a little interested and tasted them one by one: "It's kind of you to go to such lengths. It does have a touch of rustic charm."
And so it was done. With the Empress Dowager's word, their wine would enter the homes of all the nobles and imperial relatives without any hindrance.
Then we won't have to worry about customers or reputation.
Tong Guining stayed by the Empress Dowager's side throughout the banquet, appearing to be a shy and easily embarrassed woman. Of course, this could only be a facade before the wedding; we'll have to wait and see once she actually enters Yuqing Palace.
There was a little incident in the middle. When Liu Liu saw that her mother was wearing a flower in her hair, she wanted one too. Taking advantage of the fact that the eldest princess was not paying attention, she broke free from Yu Xiao and ran straight to the Empress Dowager.
"Liu Liu greets Mother Wu Ku. Mother Wu Ku, Liu Liu also wants to wear flowers." Liu Liu is small, but her voice is loud.
Upon hearing the familiar voice, Yi Hua immediately looked up and saw that her troublesome son had somehow ended up at the Empress Dowager's place, shamelessly demanding flowers to wear.
She immediately glared at Liu Liu, then knelt on the ground and said, "My second daughter is naughty. Please forgive her, Your Majesty the Empress Dowager."
"Get up." The Empress Dowager waved her hand, took another flower from beside her, and personally put it behind Liu Liu's ear. The little girl shook her head and was very happy.
"Your name is Liu Liu?" The Empress Dowager took the opportunity to hug the child.
Liu Liu nodded: "My mother said I will only have a formal name after I get married, so she gave me a nickname first."
Why is it called that?
“Mom, I’ll tell you quietly, because I weighed 6.6 pounds when I was born. Please don’t tell anyone else, I’m not fat at all.”
Liu Liu thought she was speaking softly, but those nearby could hear her. She held back her laughter and didn't say anything.
The Empress Dowager smiled gently and squeezed Liu Liu's strong arm: "Yes, I can vouch for you, you're not fat at all."
The two seemed to have endless things to talk about, and the Empress Dowager held Liu Liu the whole time, looking very fond of her.
As the banquet ended, Yi Hua pulled Liu Liu aside and slapped her on the bottom: "How dare you!"
“Your sisters are all well-behaved, but look at you, you’re like a monkey.” Yi Hua was terrified all day. What Hong Hui had gone through seemed like a cycle, and now it was Liu Liu’s turn.
"Mommy Uku likes me very much," Liu Liu said in her childish voice. She was very proud; Liu Liu was a little girl loved by everyone.
"Heh, Mother doesn't like you much right now." Yi Hua carried her all the way out of the palace. After getting into the carriage, she placed her on her lap and gave her bottom a few hard slaps. "Will you dare to do it again next time?"
Liu Liu shook her body. "Mom, it didn't hurt at all. I'm wearing too many clothes today."
"Mother, don't be angry. You don't like Liu Liu now, but you'll like her when we get home, won't you?" Liu Liu showed her white teeth and smiled innocently.
Yi Hua was so coaxed that her anger had long since dissipated.
"You should learn more from your older sister. You can't be so reckless, you know?" Yi Hua said helplessly.
The eldest princess, watching from the side, chimed in, "Don't worry, Mother. Liu Liu is still young. She'll be more sensible after this year."
"If this child can be half as worry-free as you in the future, I'll be thanking Amitabha Buddha." Yi Hua leaned against the carriage and pulled out some pastries from a hidden compartment, gesturing for the two sisters to have some to fill their stomachs.
Upon seeing the pastries, Liu Liu completely forgot about what had just happened and focused intently on munching on them.
Seeing that her mistress was in a very good mood, Huang, the old nanny by the Empress Dowager's side, stepped forward to tease her: "Sixth Princess is truly a stunner, no wonder Your Majesty likes her so much."
"She doesn't seem like someone raised in the Forbidden City; she seems more like the pearl of my Khorchin." The Empress Dowager grew up on the grasslands in her youth and has always admired heroic beauties. However, life has turned her into a stagnant pool. Seeing such a vibrant young girl, she couldn't help but spend more time with her.
Seeing that her mistress was thinking about the past, Granny Huang quickly changed the subject: "No wonder Princess Liuliu is so clever and mischievous. Fourth Princess is no less so. She gave wine a tea-like name."
"She's quite the charmer; those wines were really good," the Empress Dowager remarked after savoring them. "They just weren't strong enough!"

The Ministry of Revenue has been quite busy lately, so Yinzhen sent Su Peisheng to inform Yihua that he would be staying in the front courtyard.
Just as he was busy late at night, a female guard who was watching over Niohuru rushed over and handed Su Peisheng a note.
Su Peisheng was already used to these notes. Princess Niohuru was quite strange; she had sent her master dozens of notes, the contents of which were unknown. Although the master had read them all, he had never responded.
This one will probably be burned too, Su Peisheng thought to himself as he handed the note to Yinzhen.
Yinzhen took the paper, unfolded it, and was heartbroken after just one glance. He crushed the paper in his hand, and without even bothering with the memorial he was drafting, he rushed to the backyard.
Upon seeing this, Su Peisheng quickly followed, but seeing the anger emanating from his master's back, he dared not ask a single question, only following closely to illuminate the way for Yinzhen.
The bedroom where Niohuru lived was finally opened, and the cold moonlight shone into the room through the threshold. A gaunt woman with disheveled hair sat on the floor by the bedside, looking at Yinzhen and his entourage with a silly smile.
"Master is here. I knew Master would come." Niohuru lowered her head, then raised her eyes, looking at people with a distorted angle. Su Peisheng felt a chill in the middle of the night.
