Chapter Seventy-Six: The Wanyan Clan

Because he had fallen asleep on his wedding night, Yinzhen felt indebted to his wife, and was very considerate and gentle all morning, making the couple seem harmonious for a time.

Yonghe Palace

Consort De smiled broadly as her youngest son and his wife arrived hand in hand. She then placed her phoenix hairpin directly into Wanyan's hair, saying, "Good child, Fourteenth is a lively one. With you looking after him, I can rest easy."

Wanyan said with a face full of shame, "Replying to Mother, your daughter-in-law is stupid and clumsy. I will definitely serve the Fourteenth Prince with all my heart in the future. Kangxi casually picked up the brush and threw it at him, thinking that his son's head was full of fake wine.
