When Yi Hua woke up, she found that the room had changed drastically. Except for the soft couch where she had rested, even the bed in the room had been replaced.
"What happened?" Yi Hua asked, puzzled. Had the house been burgled?
Ulanara helped Yihua to lie down on the newly moved-in bed and gestured to the servants to change the soft couch as well: "I heard from experienced people that when a woman is pregnant, her nose, ears, eyes, and skin become very sensitive. I thought that there might be some things in this room that were originally very ordinary, but you can't smell or see them now, so I went back to Prince and opened the storeroom to change them all for you."
“The Prince specially selected items without any odor, and Ninth Prince also provided quite a few of the less desirable items from the storeroom. You can stay here for now, and we'll change them if you're not comfortable,” Ulanara said with a smile. “No, you can move your own boudoir over here too.”
"Mother is just joking." Yi Hua was amused. If she really did that, the Fourth Prince would become the laughing stock of the capital.
Whether it was psychological or something else, Yihua's health improved day by day, and Yinzhen breathed a sigh of relief, becoming much more amiable towards Lady Ulanara.
"It's all thanks to your wisdom that the Princess Consort looks presentable now," Yinzhen said solemnly to Lady Ulanara.
Lady Ulanara hesitated before saying, "Your Highness, I shouldn't be the one to say this, but I find something rather strange. Please examine the furniture in the Princess's room carefully; you might find something useful."
Yinzhen nodded. He had already thought of this and made the arrangements. Seeing that he understood, Lady Ulanara said no more.
Although she felt sorry for her daughter, she knew that the affairs of the prince's harem were not something she could interfere with.
Honghui has been clinging to Yihua more and more lately. In the morning, he dressed neatly, carrying the small schoolbag that Yihua had sewn by hand, and tugged at the hem of Yihua's clothes: "Mother, how are you feeling today?"
"Much better, Honghui, don't worry." Yihua patted Honghui's little shoulder. The little figure, dressed in royal blue, looked exceptionally noble.
Honghui sighed and patted Yihua's belly: "Be a good little brother, or your big brother won't like you anymore."
"Oh my, look, he moved! He understood! You said you don't like him anymore!" Yi Hua and Hong Hui stared at the little fist bulging out of his belly.
Honghui panicked a little and quickly coaxed, "Little brother, I was just joking. Please don't take it seriously. I love you the most."
"Huh? Isn't Honghui's favorite mother?" Yihua pretended to be sad.
Honghui panicked even more and quickly explained, "Honghui loves Mother the most, most, most."
Yinzhen waited outside for a long time but no one came out. When he came in, he heard Honghui's words and raised an eyebrow: "So Honghui likes Mother the most? What about Father?"
Honghui rolled his eyes slightly, then calmly looked at Yinzhen and said, "Father, let's go."
After saying that, the little boy walked to the front. Yinzhen angrily grabbed him by the back of the neck. The two stared at each other for a while without saying anything. Yinzhen then carried Honghui into the carriage, and the carriage wheels drove steadily towards the palace.
"Father, is there something wrong with the furniture in Mother's room?" Honghui suddenly asked. It was already quite remarkable that he had been able to endure this long at such a young age.
Yinzhen thought for a moment and said, "It's an imported product, a Western perfume. The imperial physician carefully examined it and found that it contains a lot of musk. Women who smell it too much are very prone to miscarriage. Fortunately, it was discovered in time, and your mother is in good health and has withstood it."
"Miscarriage, like what happened to the Crown Princess?" Honghui asked, a hint of fear on his face.
"Yes, Honghui, don't be afraid, your father will protect you." Yinzhen held Honghui's hand, giving him sustained strength and warmth.
"Who did that?" Honghui continued to ask.
"Can you give Father a little more time?" Yinzhen said earnestly. He had a general direction, but the person that direction ultimately pointed to was unbelievable.
“I’ll go and ask Grandfather for help in investigating.” Honghui also wanted to help.
Yinzhen immediately stopped him: "Honghui, remember, your grandfather is the emperor. You cannot ask anything of the emperor, understand?"
Honghui didn't quite understand. He felt that his grandfather truly loved him, and that he was so capable that he would definitely be able to find out the truth.
“Remember, Honghui. I’ll say it again: when facing the Emperor, you must be selfless. Accept whatever he gives you, and never ask for anything he doesn’t give you.” Yinzhen squeezed Honghui’s shoulder, making him repeat himself.
"Have you remembered it?" Yinzhen asked again, still not entirely convinced.
"I'll remember." Honghui was a little unwilling, but he was a child who knew what was important, so he indicated that he understood.
He pondered this all the way. If he couldn't ask for it himself, then it would be easy. He would just have to make him give it to him voluntarily. Honghui's eyes lit up and he had an idea.

Hall of Mental Cultivation
While reading the memorial today, Honghui suddenly drifted off into his own thoughts, and after this happened several times, Kangxi became somewhat displeased.
"Honghui, how can you not concentrate on your studies? Is this the principle that Grandfather taught you?"
Honghui knelt down, his face full of shame: "Grandpa, it's all Honghui's fault, but Honghui is really worried about Mother."
"What's wrong with your mother?" Kangxi was quite satisfied with his fourth wife. After all, she had raised such a grandson who pleased him, and he had never heard any gossip about the fourth prince's household, so she must be quite good at managing the household.
“Mother is pregnant with a little brother, and her belly is this big now.” Honghui gestured, making Kangxi laugh.
"Then what?"
Honghui frowned and said, "Mother is vomiting so badly, Honghui is so worried."
