Chapter 14: Don't Cross the Line
Shen Shuli narrowed her eyes fiercely, raised the corners of her lips sarcastically, and looked indifferent: "So, this is your reason for giving up overtime and coming here to eat, right?"
After saying that, he retracted his gaze and continued down the stairs.

"Ali, get in the car, I'll take you home."
"No, I'll take a taxi myself. You go back first."
Chen Shuli ignored her. She knew that Mu Huaixu had ulterior motives in looking for her this time. She shouldn't have approached him again and again even though she knew his purpose.
Mu Huaixu was silent for a moment. "Do you think Fu Yanci will allow you to get in a taxi if he's here? If you don't want to squeeze in the same car with the two of them, you'd better get in."
