Chapter 49: He must not know about the child's existence
After Fu Yanci and the other nurses finished treating the wound, they tidied it up briefly, walked out of the treatment room and headed towards the bathroom.
Shen Shuli came out of the bathroom as if nothing had happened, and almost bumped into Fu Yanci head-on. She was almost startled, "Have you treated your wounds?"
"Is your stomach still upset?"
Fu Yanci's inquiring gaze fell on her belly.
Shen Shuli was still thinking of what excuse he could use to get away with it.
"My appetite is much better now. I've been having stomach problems recently. I have a little diarrhea, but it's nothing serious."
"Since we're at the hospital, I'd better take you to see a doctor. I'll feel more at ease."
After saying that, Fu Yanci took Shen Shuli's arm and walked towards the registration room.

The doctor said, "If you want to check HCG, you have to go to the outpatient clinic during the day. We can't do this in the emergency room at night."
Fu Yanci straightened up, feeling a little lost.
The doctor asked again: "Are you still checking?"
Fu Yanci didn't say anything.
Shen Shuli said: "Forget it, doctor, let's go to the outpatient clinic tomorrow."
After saying that, he stood up and prepared to leave.
Fu Yanci followed her silently with a very ugly look on his face.
Seeing him like this, Shen Shuli understood that he was not looking forward to the arrival of this child at all.
"Don't you like children?"

Fu Yanci leaned close to her ear and coaxed her softly.

The next day, Shen Shuli woke up very early.
When she got up, Fu Yanci also opened his eyes and stood up.
Shen Shuli had no expression, washed up, and changed clothes.

Shen Shuli walked out without any expression, "Please take me to the law firm, I still have a lot of work to do."
"Okay, I'll pick you up after get off work. Just wait for me at the law firm."
Fu Yanci helped her to the passenger seat and fastened her seat belt.
Shen Shuli supported his chin and looked at the scenery outside the window, without saying a word the whole way.
Fu Yanci's gaze inadvertently fell on her, but he had to concentrate on driving. He could see her irritability. After all, this kind of thing happened frequently before.
