Chapter 15 The Power of a Bullshit

Seeing that Zhao Youliang did not accept his "kindness," the waiter became anxious.

He walked over with deathly gray eyes, opened his mouth in a sinister tone, revealing a mouthful of yellowed teeth.

Why aren't you eating?!

Before Zhao Youliang could answer, the audience members all stood up and surrounded him.

He stared intently at Zhao Youliang with equally lifeless gray eyes: "Why aren't you eating!"

This scene almost made Zhao Youliang cry.

He tried to get up and run away, but his body was still out of his control.

The waiter was clearly getting anxious when he saw that Zhao Youliang was still sitting there without moving.

He stretched out his half-rotten hand, grabbed a handful of "pastries," and was about to stuff them into his mouth.

At this critical moment, a clear voice rang out: "Enough!"

"The reputation of our Northeast Immortal Clan has been ruined by you lot!"

After the sound, a young man in ancient costume appeared in front of Zhao Youliang at some point.

The people around him were clearly afraid of him, and they all returned to their seats with awkward smiles.

The young master ignored the group of "people" and instead pulled Zhao Youliang away.

While he was at it, Zhao Youliang quietly observed the direction of the stage: who else was there?

It was just a few weasels dressed in theatrical costumes standing on a broken coffin, gesturing and making noises, surrounded by desolate graves.

And those so-called spectators were sitting on graves.

They were all weasels, and each one had a human skull on its head...

When the young master saw that Zhao Youliang had seen the truth, he stopped hiding it and began to explain.

"Young man, please don't misunderstand. They are not from the Huang family lineage, but rather small households that cultivate their own paths."

"Our Huang family lineage only does good deeds and will never harm anyone."

This sentence contained a great deal of information, and Zhao Youliang pondered it for a moment before he realized it.

The Huang family, practicing cultivation... Isn't this exactly the shamanic practice that Manager Sun mentioned?

The Yellow Family Immortals among the Fox, Yellow, White, Willow, and Gray!

Realizing that this person was the one who could save his life, Zhao Youliang immediately wanted to ask for help.

But just then, a sharp abdominal pain came.

It felt like someone had put an air bag in our stomach and then suddenly started pumping air into it with several high-powered air blowers!

"ah!"

Zhao Youliang screamed and fell to the ground, horrified to discover that his stomach was rapidly growing larger.

In just this short time, she already looked like a pregnant woman about to give birth.

"Old sage, save me!!"

After uttering those words, Zhao Youliang immediately fainted.

Meanwhile, in the deep mountains and forests on the other side.

The death row inmate Zhao Youliang encountered during the day was sitting cross-legged on the ground, chanting incantations that no one else could understand.

Before him lay a pale white ox skull.

After the incantation was finished, the condemned prisoner took out a bottle of corpse oil and dripped it onto the bull skull little by little.

"Hehehe, you're dead now that you've fallen for my 'bullish curse'!"

"Kid, don't blame me for being ruthless... A common man is innocent, but he is guilty of possessing a treasure. Who told you your shop to be the best place to raise corpses?"

"My body, neither human nor ghost, can't hold on for much longer..."

At this point, the death row inmate reached up and grabbed the back of his head, or more precisely, the spot where the bullet hole was.

They actually pulled out several live maggots from inside...

"It's already starting to rot?!"

He viciously put the maggots into his mouth and chewed them, then sat cross-legged on the ground again, chanting incantations.

He just read it even faster this time.

The faster the death row inmate read the indictment, the bigger Zhao Youliang's belly became.

The young master standing nearby was taken aback at first, then quickly squatted down and placed his hand on Zhao Youliang's stomach, and began to chant as well.

"A thunderclap resounded through the sky, and the evil spirits fled; the enemies of the Thirty-Three Heavens, silently and without restraint, lay hidden in the depths of the earth..."

Although Huang Jiaxian's intervention did not resolve the "cow-skin curse," at least Zhao Youliang's belly stopped growing and was temporarily out of danger of bursting.

"Niu Pi Jiang" refers to the small pills that death row inmates would drop into Zhao Youliang's tofu pudding in the morning; it could be considered a type of "medicinal curse."

The sorcerer used a spell to shrink the entire cowhide into granules, then made the victim swallow it when he was off guard.

Then, as long as the sorcerer chants incantations and performs rituals, the cowhide in the victim's stomach will continue to swell.

They continued until his belly burst open and he died.

......

After a brief standoff between the young master and the sorcery, he seemed to finally realize what was happening.

"Could it be some kind of Japanese sorcery?!"

"It's fate that we met. Fine, I'll save you one more time!"

He then kept one hand on Zhao Youliang's stomach, while taking out a fishhook-like object from his pocket with the other hand, attached to a fishing line.

They pried open Zhao Youliang's mouth and slowly lowered the fishhook inside.

When he thought it was about time, the young master suddenly pulled outwards.

With a soft "plop," a complete cowhide was indeed pulled out of Zhao Youliang's stomach.

Fortunately, the young master discovered it in time; if it had been any later and the cowhide had fully swelled up, even if it had been hooked, it wouldn't have been able to be pulled out.

Seeing that Zhao Youliang was unconscious, the young master took out a pill and fed it to him.

After a moment's thought, he folded the crocheted cowhide into a square piece and stuffed it into Zhao Youliang's clothes.

"I see that you have the fate of a Five Ghost Child, destined to make a living as a 'yin-yang' person in this life."

"Once I'm capable enough, I'll use this boast to get revenge on the people who wronged you!"

After the young master finished speaking, he transformed into a weasel more than a meter long and ran into the deep mountains.

When Zhao Youliang woke up again, it was already late at night.

He was disheartened to find that the Huang family immortal he had finally found had left.

But after glancing at his watch, he couldn't care less about anything else: with a shout, he hopped on his old bicycle and sped off towards the town.

There's no other reason than that it's almost 11 o'clock in a little over an hour, and Zhao Youliang hasn't offered incense to the two puppets in the shop yet!

After experiencing so many strange things, he had come to believe in ghosts and gods.

I don't want to cause any more trouble by breaking the rules.

Every extra day we live brings a little more hope, doesn't it?

Just as Zhao Youliang was rushing back, the big yellow dog in the shop was clearly even more anxious than he was.

Standing in the middle of the shop, I would look at the old-fashioned wall clock for a while, and then at the paper figures on both sides.

The dog's eyes were filled with terror.

It was as if something extremely terrifying would happen as soon as the time came.

After anxiously waiting for Zhao Youliang to return, the big yellow dog gritted its teeth and decided to "rely on its own".

It wiggled its shriveled bottom and ran quickly towards the door, banging its head against it with all its might.

It was to help Zhao Youliang close the shop, even though the deadline had long passed.

Unfortunately, no matter how hard they tried, the shop door wouldn't budge, as if it were welded shut.

Just then, the wall clock chimed.

Ding ding ding... exactly eleven sounds, no more, no less.

It's midnight...
