Chapter 201 Buried on the spot

This was the first time in Zhao Youliang's life that he had ever felt so high and mighty.

The excitement and shouts during the high-speed ride were just like our first time riding a roller coaster.

"Oh my, old sage, is it really that amazing?"

"If I had known it could be like this, we wouldn't have needed Li Mao to deliver it!"

Upon hearing this, the grasshopper spirit smiled helplessly and answered Zhao Youliang, slightly out of breath.

"Quantum, it's really too much trouble for us to come up with a way to carry you on the wind."

"To put it another way, it's like the rider is happy, but the horse suffers... Oh dear!"

As the grasshopper spirit cried out in alarm, Zhao Youliang felt his feet sink.

Then, just like an ordinary person tripping while running at high speed, he suddenly fell face-first into the mud.

"Ouch, that hurts! My nose is so dry it's bleeding!"

"What's wrong, old immortal? Are you feeling listless?!"

Zhao Youliang was thrown so hard that blood flowed from his mouth and nose, and even his forehead was scraped raw.

It groaned and whimpered as it struggled to its feet.

The grasshopper spirit, looking terrified, revealed its soul form beside Zhao Youliang: "Liang, Quantum, it wasn't that I, the old immortal, was out of strength, but that something pulled me down!"

"They've stopped me?!" Zhao Youliang immediately became alert upon hearing this.

Because the only things that can hold back a "deity" are "deities" and ghosts.

However, regardless of which of the above, the other party clearly has ill intentions.

Unfortunately, Zhao Youliang and the grasshopper spirit searched for a long time but couldn't find what was holding them back.

There were no spirits or ghosts around, not even a single living being with any spiritual energy.

"How could this happen? Is it the legendary slip-and-fall?!" Zhao Youliang wondered, looking around.

To his astonishment, Zhao Youliang discovered that while the ground around him was wet, the spot where he had fallen was completely dry.

Moreover, a faint mist kept seeping out from underfoot and then slowly drifting to the surroundings.

"After a heavy rain, the first place to dry; during a foggy day, the first place to condense... Old Green Immortal, could it be that there is a dragon vein flowing beneath our feet?"

"What tripped us up wasn't some dirty thing, but a dragon vein!"

To confirm his idea, Zhao Youliang quickly squatted down and dug the soil with all his might.

After a few moments, sure enough, a rainbow of colors appeared below.

"Holy crap, it really is a wandering dragon vein!!"

After confirming his idea, Zhao Youliang excitedly pulled the grasshopper spirit along, jumping and leaping around like a clown celebrating his victory.

After all, this is a dragon vein, a legendary dragon vein that is hard to come by!

At first, the grasshopper spirit was overjoyed, but it soon came to its senses.

After hesitating for a moment, he asked, "Quantum, even a dragon vein is just a 'wandering dragon,' and it could disappear at any time."

"What's there for us two to be happy about?"

"What, I can't just kill you right now and bury you on the spot, can I?!"

Zhao Youliang was taken aback upon hearing this, then subconsciously moved a little away from the grasshopper spirit before nodding deeply.

"Old, old sage, what you said seems to make sense..."

After a brief moment of awkwardness, Zhao Youliang and the grasshopper spirit continued on their way, heading straight for the entrance to the tomb.

Not long after the two left, the mysterious Wang Youcai appeared from a distance, rapidly approaching in a flashing manner.

In the blink of an eye, they arrived at the spot where Zhao Youliang had just landed.

After gazing at Zhao Youliang's retreating figure for a long time, he uttered two words in a deep voice: "Elder brother."

Then he looked down at his feet: "The dragon vein."

As he spoke, Wang Youcai slowly sank towards the ground, burying himself completely...

On the other side, Zhao Youliang and the grasshopper spirit spent another half an incense stick's time before finally finding the entrance to the tomb.

It's called an entrance, but it's really just a slightly larger hole for robbers.

It's possible that because the backwards zombie had been inside before, it just happens to look like an upright human figure.

"Oh my god, Quantum, this is it."

"This place is incredibly eerie, Quantum, don't get too close!"

Zhao Youliang certainly knew this place was strange, after all, Zhao Hongwei had told him before that there was a "Dragon Soaring Through the Sky Cave" here.

(For details, please refer to Chapter 0156 of this book: Fate Was Not Yet Over)

Wait, a dragon roaming the sky? Could it be related to the dragon vein that was just wandering around?

Just as Zhao Youliang was lost in thought, bursts of black smoke suddenly spewed out from the entrance of the tomb.

As the black mist billowed out, the entire mountain convulsed.

It's like when we've had too much to drink, and we might throw up at any moment.

"Holy crap, could it be an earthquake?!"

Staggering, Zhao Youliang quickly grabbed onto a large tree beside him to prevent himself from falling.

The grasshopper spirit then attached itself to him, staring nervously at the entrance to the tomb.

After gagging a few times, something actually came out of the mouth, and upon closer inspection, it was Zhao Hongwei, who had been carried in by the backward-walking corpse.

However, at this moment, his face was ashen and he had no breath left; he was clearly dead beyond any doubt.

"Magnificent!"

Upon seeing this, Zhao Youliang disregarded the earthquake and immediately staggered to the other person's side, picking him up in his arms.

"Old Immortal, let's run!"

The grasshopper spirit, always alert, immediately transformed into a whirlwind upon hearing this, lifting Zhao Youliang up and rushing back the way they came.

After reaching the roadside, Zhao Youliang jumped into Xiao Li's car and gestured for him to drive back quickly.

Surprisingly, despite being at such a close distance, Li Mao did not feel any tremors whatsoever.

"Hey Quantum, isn't this your friend Zhao Hongwei?"
