Last night, after Granny Mi and the other two left Zhao Youliang's place, they gathered together at Manager Sun's coffin shop.
As mentioned earlier: evil spirits can harm people, so we must be wary.
Moreover, true practitioners do not cultivate solely for their own benefit.
Their fundamental purpose is to protect people with great love in their hearts.
As the saying goes: what you fear most is what will happen.
As the night deepened, the compass placed in front of the old man who drove the corpses suddenly began to spin rapidly.
A moment later, the pointer seemed to be firmly locked in place by a strong magnet, pointing straight to the north.
Upon seeing this, Manager Sun quickly stood up: "Sisters, you continue watching, I'll go take a look."
"We can't go together, lest those three old devils lure us away from the mountain!"
"I'll call for help if I can't hold on any longer!"
And so, with a wooden mallet in one hand and a coffin nail in the other, Manager Sun headed straight for the direction with the heaviest yin energy.
As soon as I arrived nearby, I heard screams of alarm from the family where the accident had occurred.
"Child, what's wrong with you? You can't eat anymore!"
"Child, let go of me! I'll give you something to eat, okay? You can't eat yourself!"
In a moment of urgency, Manager Sun hurriedly jumped into the courtyard and saw a six or seven-year-old child standing in the middle of the yard, his face pale and green.
The most terrifying thing is that he was still gnawing on his own left arm, leaving it bleeding profusely.
In some places, even the bare bones were exposed.
He sneered as he ate, coldly observing everyone around him.
Every time his parents and relatives tried to approach and stop him, they were repelled by an invisible force.
Therefore, he could only collapse nearby, desperately crying and shouting, trying to stop it.
When the child's father saw Manager Sun arrive, he rushed over in three quick steps and knelt down on the ground with a thud.
"Uncle Sun, please have mercy and save my child!"
"He...he seems to be possessed!"
Without the child's father needing to say anything, Manager Sun naturally realized that the other party was possessed by an evil spirit.
He quickly took out the ink line and drew a circle around the child.
Even after seeing Manager Sun's actions, the possessed boy remained unmoved.
He just gnaws at himself faster and laughs even more sinisterly.
"You coffin seller, instead of staying home and waiting to die, you dare to come out and meddle in other people's business? Do you want to die sooner?"
The other person was clearly a child, but the voice of the man speaking was that of a middle-aged man.
This made Manager Sun even more certain that he was the evil spirit who had come to his door last night.
"Hmph, waiting to die? It might not be me who dies!"
As he spoke, Manager Sun pulled the ink line into an arc shape, flicking out a few drops of ink towards the other party.
As the ink splashed onto his body, the possessed boy immediately let out a scream.
Even so, the little boy remained standing still, only speeding up the process of eating himself.
In the blink of an eye, there was hardly any flesh left on his left arm; it was all pale bone.
Then, something even more terrifying happened:
The little boy still didn't seem to be full, even though his stomach was so swollen it looked like it could burst at any moment.
He actually started by stuffing his finger bones into his mouth, making a crunching sound as he chewed.
And so, in full view of everyone, he swallowed all ten of his finger bones.
"child!"
Seeing this, the little boy's mother could no longer bear it and rushed towards him, crying out.
"You filthy thing, if you're going to harm someone, then harm me! Please let my son go, I beg you!"
"Get out!" the little boy shouted as his mother rushed towards him recklessly.
Then the child's mother was kicked as if by an invisible giant foot, screaming as she flew away.
"Heh heh heh, now you know how to feel sorry? Now you know how to be scared?"
"We'll pay for how you treated us back then!"
After the little boy finished speaking through gritted teeth, he grinned maliciously and put his right arm into his mouth to gnaw on it.
The blood dripping from the corner of his mouth made the little boy look even more ferocious.
"You beast, you've gone too far!"
Upon seeing this, Manager Sun flew into a rage. He spun around rapidly, wrapping the ink line all over his body, and then raised the wooden mallet high, smashing it down on the little boy's head.
Unexpectedly, even so, the little boy remained unmoved and even floated to the front of Manager Sun on his own initiative.
"Go ahead and smash it! If you've got the guts, smash it down!"
"At worst, I'll die with this child!"
"You! You beast, you despicable person!" The evil spirit's shameless attitude left Manager Sun at a loss for words.
In a fit of rage, he put away the mallet and took out a coffin nail, plunging it into the little boy's left shoulder.
Immediately, the sizzling sound of grilling filled the air, along with plumes of black smoke rising from the grill.
This time, the little boy finally cried out in pain, but he still didn't flinch or avoid it, just staring straight at Manager Sun.
He continued to gnaw on his right arm...
Seeing this, Manager Sun became even more anxious. He then pierced the little boy's right shoulder with another coffin nail and grabbed his arm, pulling hard.
"You beast, stop right now!"
The little boy sneered, "Hehehe, old man, just pull harder, you might as well break his arm, hahahaha!"
"We'll see who dies then, him or me!"
These words struck at Manager Sun's Achilles' heel, making it impossible for him to forcibly tear off the child's arm.
At this point, Manager Sun felt a surge of hatred for the evil spirits, but even more so for himself:
He hated himself for not being qualified enough, which was why he had lived most of his life and was still just a black-footed coffin bearer!
If one could become a "white-footed coffin bearer," perhaps there would be a way to force the evil spirit out of the little boy's body.
In desperation, Manager Sun went completely mad and hugged the little boy tightly without regard for anything else.
He then burst through the door and ran straight toward the prison.
This time, the little boy finally panicked: "You old geezer, what do you want to do?!"
"Hehe, what are you doing?!" Manager Sun laughed miserably.
"You beast, even if you're fierce, you still dare to cause trouble in the army? I'll carry you over right now!"
"At worst, I'll get shot dead by the soldiers, and you won't get away with it!"
The little boy was taken aback by what he heard, and then began to chuckle coldly.
"Old man, you win this time!"
"But did you really win?"
After saying this, a ghostly figure flew out of the little boy's body and then disappeared immediately.
The severely injured little boy immediately slumped down, his head hanging limply, and stopped breathing...
After listening to the old man who drove the corpses, Zhao Youliang could only curse "Damn it!" a few times, and couldn't think of any other words.
"What about the other dead people?"
"You and your mother-in-law didn't survive either?"
Zhao Youliang's words were not meant as a complaint or blame, but rather an inquiry stemming from a kind and instinctive feeling.
Even so, the old man who drove the corpses still lowered his head in shame.
"Couldn't be saved... Sigh, I'm a corpse driver, and the old lady is a spirit medium."
"We're no good at dealing with such evil spirits... We just regret our lack of skill, alas!"
"Not only that, the old lady was also injured by an evil spirit while saving a child..."
