Chapter 1 Entering Another World

The quiet and simple little village is nestled in the towering mountains. As the sky brightens, the crowing of roosters one after another heralds the beginning of a new day.

Wisps of smoke rose as every household lit their stoves and began preparing breakfast.

"Third brother, wake up quickly and drink the porridge before going to sleep."

Lin Mo frowned and slowly opened his eyes. What he saw was a gray-faced young boy in a patched linen shirt, who was holding a torn black bowl and looking at him.

"Okay." Lin Mo nodded, still feeling a little dizzy.

The young boy carefully fed Lin Mo with a black wooden spoon, his thin, dark face showing a serious expression.

Lin Mo looked at him carefully, swallowing the food with difficulty. It was called porridge, but there were only a few grains of rice in it, almost the same as drinking water. But looking at the way the boy carefully fed him, Lin Mo knew in his heart that this was probably the best ration in the family.

"Third brother, after this experience, you must learn your lesson and never let Lai Gouzi use you as a pawn again." The young man pouted and said angrily, "I finally managed to get better, but now you're lying in bed again."

There was some complaint in the boy's words, but his voice was so choked that it was heartbreaking, and his eyes were red.

Lin Mo nodded without saying anything. He was in excruciating pain all over his body, and his chest ached when he spoke. Besides, he was not the third brother the boy mentioned, so he didn't dare to speak rashly.

After the young man left with the empty bowl, Lin Mo mobilized his special abilities to slowly repair his spine that had been beaten to pieces.

Lin Mo is not from this world, but a complete time traveler. However, others who travel through time either become kings or prime ministers, or become princes. At worst, they are healthy and living people!

As soon as he came through, the original owner had already died. While the body was still warm, he quickly moved in and preserved the original owner's memory.

If he hadn't inherited the memory, he would always think that he had fallen into that ancient village in the valley. He was afraid that his original family would find out that he was different, so he never dared to speak carelessly.

With all these injuries, at his current rate of recovery, it would take him at least a month to recover. In addition, ghosts and monsters were taboo here. In order to avoid being thrown into the mountains to fend for himself, Lin Mo had been trying to imitate his original body's behavior.

He lay obediently on the bed, waiting for his brothers to feed him, give him water, and help him with his bowel movements and urination.

He was now staying in an adobe house with a thick thatched roof. The man who had just left was his original body's younger brother, Lin Wu. He was fourteen years old this year, but he looked dark and thin, with dry and yellow hair, and was severely malnourished.

The original body's name was also Lin Mo. He was the third child in the family. He was weak and sickly since childhood, malnourished, and extremely skinny.

But Lin Mo could see that this person looked exactly like him, so he was convinced that this was his own self from another world, except that the original owner's family was so poor! His face was so distorted from hunger that it was difficult to recognize his original appearance.

Lin Mo looked at the small unfinished house again. From his memory, he knew that there were three rooms in the house, one of which was a large room, where he was lying now.

There is also a small room and a small kitchen. The original body's memory is very vague. Most of the time he lies on this wooden bed. Because he is weak, he rarely goes out.

Lin Mo could only conclude that this was a different world, and this world had one more gender than his original world. In addition to men, women, there were also boys.

The boy looks just like a man, but he has fertility, just very low. Lin Mo was a little surprised and didn't think much about it.

His original world has become a world of zombies. At the end of the world, humans have awakened various superpowers, and animals and plants have mutated into strange shapes, so it is not scary for him that men can have children.

Even he himself has awakened the ice ability. In addition, he also has a small space that can only store items. It cannot be used for farming or practicing Taoism as described in the books.

But both of these things traveled through time with his soul. Lin Mo once suspected that he was able to travel through time because of these two things.

Space and superpowers are common in the end times, and almost everyone has awakened to them. However, in this early era without technology, they are undoubtedly like golden fingers.

With these two things, Lin Mo felt that he had a way to save his life in this strange world.

But this body was too useless. His left leg was shattered and his spine was broken. If it weren't for his superpowers, he would have died with the original owner.

Even if you are lucky enough not to die, you will be disabled and paralyzed in bed for life.

In his memory, the original owner's injuries were caused by himself. His parents passed away five years ago, leaving only four brothers in the family.

The eldest, Lin Sheng, is a jerk; the second, Lin Wen, is a fool; the third, Lin Mo, is frail and sickly, bedridden all year round; the fourth, Lin Wu, is the biggest Rolex in the family.

This family was also miserable. At that time, the family had not yet split up, and they still lived with several uncles. Later, Lin's parents passed away one after another, making their already difficult life even worse.

Old Man Lin has three brothers, two older brothers and a younger brother. The younger brother is a boy and has long been married to another village.

Seeing his uncles in his memory, Lin Mo frowned slightly. After his parents passed away, his uncle Lin Dasong began to urge his grandfather to divide the family property and separate their three branches.

At that time, the brothers were still young, some were sick, some were stupid, and they had lost their parents. If they were separated and lived on their own, they would starve to death sooner or later. The old man had a conscience and held on and did not divide the family.
