Shen Tingsi's brain went blank! After sucking away the remaining wine aroma from the corner of his mouth, Jiang Li left.
"The wine is gone. The wine is gone."
Jiang Li mumbled a few words incoherently, but she couldn't hold back her eyelids which kept fighting each other. She leaned her head against Shen Tingsi's chest and fell asleep.
Shen Tingsi swallowed unconsciously, lowered his eyes to look at Jiang Li in his arms, and called her twice tentatively.
"Pear, Pear?"
"Don't, don't make noise."
Jiang Li rubbed Shen Tingsi's chest uncomfortably, and finally found a comfortable position and fell asleep.
Looking at the little head on his chest, Shen Tingsi's eyes flashed with doting. He put his arms around Jiang Li's shoulders to make her sit up straight, then squatted in front of her and carried her on his back effortlessly.
It was noon and people had all gone home for lunch. The streets were sparsely populated and there were only a few people ahead.
Shen Tingsi carried Jiang Li on his back and walked towards the Jiang Mansion. The scenery in the south of the Yangtze River was beautiful, and the road was full of flowers since he came out of Zuixian Tower.
Shen Tingsi carried Jiang Li on his back as they walked under the cherry tree. The breeze blew gently, and petals fell from the tree, landing on the two of them and at their feet.
Jiang Li lay on Shen Tingsi's back, her arms around his neck, her chin resting on his shoulder, she looked dazed after being drunk.
If you say she is asleep, she can talk to Shen Tingsi, but if you say she is not asleep, she has her eyes closed.
Shen Tingsi carried her on his back and walked slowly under the cherry trees. He turned his head to look at the little head leaning on his shoulder and talked to Jiang Li sentence after sentence.
Shen Tingsi looked at her tenderly, while Jiang Li answered him in a daze.
"What's Li'er's favorite drink?"
"Peach blossom wine."
"What's your favorite food?"
"Hmm... West Lake Beef Soup."
"Then let's continue drinking peach wine next time, okay?"
"OK."
"Then next time I'll treat Li'er to peach blossom wine and beef soup, okay?"
"OK."
"Then... Li'er, will you be my wife?"
