Chapter 84: Calculation
Manager Yan was stunned for a moment, and after realizing what the woman meant, he said in a somewhat incredible tone: "What do you mean?"
"Don't threaten me with resignation. There are so many people begging for this position. It's not easy to arrange a vacation for you. If you really want to leave, complete the formalities today. Someone will take your place tomorrow. You have to think it through."
The woman had a serious expression and stared at Xu Xiaoyue with dissatisfaction.
Xu Xiaoyue lowered her head and said nothing, silently calculating her savings in her mind.
Seeing her like this, Manager Yan thought she had figured it out, so he softened his tone and continued to persuade her: "You are from the countryside, this position and the salary are pretty good. If you work for another two years, I will promote you, and maybe you can get a better position."
The woman spoke earnestly, but Xu Xiaoyue had long been immune to this theory. She let it go in one ear and out the other. After the woman finished speaking, she just nodded silently.
"Okay, I've told you everything I need to say. Think about it carefully. I've already informed Zheng Jiaojiao that she will move in with you tomorrow. Don't take what happened before to heart."
After Manager Yan finished his instructions, he stood up and left.
Only after everyone left did Xu Xiaoyue raise her head. She was really puzzled. Logically speaking, even if Ruan Wei was in a hurry to deliver the clothes, she shouldn't let Zheng Jiaojiao cooperate with her to complete the work. However, Manager Yan mentioned Zheng Jiaojiao again and again in his words and even asked someone to move in and live with her.

Xu Xiaoyue's eyes darkened and she couldn't understand the reason.
Zheng Jiaojiao acted quickly and moved in the next day. This time she was much more honest and even apologized to Xu Xiaoyue in a humble manner in front of Yan Shuli.
Xu Xiaoyue shrank back on her bed and said, "No, there's no need to apologize. We can just keep out of each other's way from now on."
Yan Shuli felt suffocated by her evasive attitude, "Jiaojiao, we didn't do anything wrong, there's no need to apologize to her. If we really want to talk about it, we don't even know who should apologize."

Yan Shuli had never met a woman as sharp-tongued as Xu Xiaoyue in his life. Just one word from her could make him so angry that he almost died. The veins on his forehead were throbbing as his eyes met the woman's sickly face.
Her body, so thin that it had almost no flesh, seemed like it would break at any time. She seemed to be mad at him. She glared at him fiercely with her almond-shaped eyes, her cheeks puffed up like a puffer fish that was about to explode, and she was so thin that she seemed like she could be blown down by a gust of wind.
Seeing this, Yan Shuli repeated to himself three times, "Don't be angry. If you get angry and get sick, no one can replace you," before he calmed down.
Zheng Jiaojiao watched the two of them bickering with each other, and a feeling of dissatisfaction welled up in her heart. She made a noise with the things in her hands in annoyance.
Yan Shuli was in a daze and was startled. His eyes met the woman's gloomy face and he asked, "What happened?"
Xu Xiaoyue was too lazy to look at the affectionate look on their faces, so she got out of bed, put on her shoes, and went out for a walk.
With two annoying people moving in at once, she felt the air was polluted.
She was walking aimlessly when someone suddenly patted her shoulder. Xu Xiaoyue was thinking deeply when she jumped up in fright. She turned around and was about to curse, but swallowed the words back.
"Gu Yichen? Why are you here?" Xu Xiaoyue looked behind the man.
Gu Yichen seemed to see what she was thinking, smiled and said: "I am alone today, coming here to visit a friend. I didn't expect to meet you here, what a coincidence."
As he said this, afraid that Xu Xiaoyue might not believe him, he raised the fruit in his hand.
Ever since she had a quarrel with Yan Ye and cried in front of this man last time, Xu Xiaoyue always felt embarrassed and a little awkward when she saw Gu Yichen again.

Both of them knew who this "he" was.
At this moment, Xu Xiaoyue wished she could find a hole in the ground to crawl into. He was really talking about something irrelevant.
She shook her head like a rattle and said, "No, no, he is just crazy. Now it has been explained clearly. You don't need to pay attention to him."
Hearing "explain clearly", Gu Yichen's face darkened slightly. He was silent for a moment, pretending not to care and said: "Really? That's good."

"Okay, then I won't bother you anymore. I'll go see my friends first." Gu Yichen still knew when to stop, and left happily with the fruit.
