Chapter 173 Throw Me Down from the Top Floor
Yin Fu couldn't enter the waiting area outside the operating room, so she could only find a good angle to observe the situation over there.
The operation took a long time.
A few hours later, Yin Fu saw doctors and nurses coming out of the operating room in a hurry from afar. She didn't know what they said to Huo Wenjing, Lin Wenyu and others.
She was far away and vaguely saw Lin Wenyu tremble all over, stagger back a few steps, and then stand firm by holding on to the wall.
After a while, Lin Jiao was sent to the ICU.
Yin Fu spotted a nurse, quietly stopped her, and asked softly, "How is Ms. Lin Jiao?"
This nurse is an "old employee" of Huo's Hospital. She recognizes Yin Fu and knows that Yin Fu has a close relationship with President Huo.
"There's blood clots in the brain, which are compressing the nerves. He could bleed to death at any time. The situation is very serious." The nurse lowered her voice and whispered, "Second Young Master Huo has instructed us not to say anything more. Miss Yin, please don't say I told you that."
"Don't worry, I won't tell anyone." Yin Fu promised.
The nurse hurried away.
Yin Fu felt a little cold in her heart. She called Lin Wenyu again, but he didn't answer this time.
Listening to the beeping sound coming from the phone, Yin Fu had an ominous premonition.
She ran to the ICU floor, only to see Huo Wenjing's bodyguards blocking the way. She stood on tiptoe to look into the corridor, but didn't see Lin Wenyu.
Yin Fu's heart suddenly tightened and a thought flashed through her mind.
She quickly took out her phone and called Huo Wenjing, "Second Young Master! Where are you now?"
Huo Wenjing answered the phone, but did not answer. He said coldly, "Don't meddle in other people's business."
Yin Fu heard the faint sound of wind on the other end of the phone, as if it was in an open place.
The rooftop terrace?
Is this the place where she just stayed?
Yin Fu gripped her phone tightly. "Second Young Master, you're a lawyer and should be most aware of the consequences of lynching. You don't want to ruin your future like this, do you?"
Huo Wenjing sneered contemptuously, "You don't need to worry about it. You should think about how to face my eldest brother."
As Yin Fu ran up to the top floor, she said, "Your eldest brother wouldn't be as extreme as you. He at least gave Lin Wenyu and his mother some breathing space over the years."
Huo Wenjing's mockery intensified. "Then I'm afraid you don't know my eldest brother well enough. He spared the lives of Lin Wenyu and his mother, not out of mercy, but to make them live in pain and atone for their sins."
Yin Fu immediately responded, "Then you should continue to let Lin Wenyu live, and live in pain. He hasn't yet completely atoned for his sins."
Huo Wenjing chuckled softly, "What do you think I'm going to do? I don't kill people."
Yin Fu couldn't believe it now.
Seeing that Lin Jiao was in such a bad situation, any smart person would think that Lin Wenyu wanted to avenge his mother.
So, killing Lin Wenyu now is the best way to eradicate the problem completely.
Yin Fu ran to the top floor entrance panting, and sure enough, a group of bodyguards in black surrounded Lin Wenyu.
Lin Wenyu was kicked in the knee and fell to the ground.
He was in a dishevel, but expressionless, his black pupils were as cold as ink, so thick that they could not be dissolved.
"You don't dare to kill me?" Lin Wenyu suddenly spoke, his hoarse and cold voice making people inexplicably terrified. "Huo Wenjing, if you have the guts, throw me off the roof and avenge your mother who committed suicide by jumping off the building."
Huo Wenjing had already hung up Yin Fu's phone. His eyes narrowed slowly behind his glasses as he said coldly, "There are many ways to kill you. For example, you could take drugs, go crazy, and accidentally fall off a tall building."
Lin Wenyu raised his head and laughed heartily. His laughter was a little creepy. "Then come on, if you dare to do anything to me, I will find a way to put you in jail - even if I die."
