Yesterday felt like a dream, hollowing out his soul.
After an unknown amount of time, he suddenly saw a note on the ground, and his previously empty eyes finally regained their light.
He stuffed the note into his pocket and quickened his pace to leave.
"Meow meow meow..." Someone's coming, Master. Orange heard the footsteps of strangers and immediately told Jiang Jinxiu.
Jiang Jinxiu stroked Chengzi's cat fur: "You watch him, I'll go out and check."

Jiang Jinxiu happily hugged him, gave him a quick "kiss" on the cheek, and then cheerfully let go.
She turned around and scooped the orange into her arms: "Xichen, look, it's very well-behaved."
Orange seemed to be responding to Jiang Jinxiu's words, obediently letting her stroke it, and occasionally rubbing against her in her arms, looking very happy.
Seeing this, Gu Xichen's face darkened, and he realized that he had fallen for a honey trap.

He grabbed the cat by the scruff of its neck with his thumb and forefinger and threw it on the ground, saying, "You can keep it, but you're not allowed to hold it."

Gu Xichen walked into the kitchen and saw this scene.
His wife was busy working methodically, while his mother and younger sister were both filled with satisfaction and astonishment.
He shooed the two of them out: "The kitchen is small, I'll help my wife out, you two go outside and wait."
