Orange returned half an hour later.
"Meow meow meow..." Master, there are thirty people in a cave not far away, all of them armed with guns.
Those captured included women and children, who were tied up in a nearby cave. The caves here were all interconnected and intricately connected.
After understanding the specific situation, Jiang Jinxiu put the unconscious woman on Chengzi's back and went to find Gu Xichen together.
The closer she got, the more timid Jiang Jinxiu became.
At this moment, Gu Xichen was leading a group of people in the forest, seemingly searching for something, but they found nothing.
Suddenly, his sharp ears caught a noise ahead.
With a wave of his hand, he made everyone disappear into the jungle.

Orange made a few calls.
At this point, it had returned to the shape and size of a kitten.
Gu Xichen felt the voice was somewhat familiar, so he peeked out to take a look.

He strode up to Orange: "What are you doing here? Where is she?"
The orange bit his leg, gesturing for him to follow it.
After instructing everyone to stay put, Gu Xichen followed Chengzi.
The moment he saw Jiang Jinxiu, the surrounding air seemed to freeze.
He just kept looking at her quietly without saying a word.
Jiang Jinxiu felt a chill run down her spine under his gaze. The man's face was covered in face paint, making it impossible to discern any expression.
But Jiang Jinxiu knew that her man was definitely angry.
Although he didn't speak, the air pressure around him was really low.
Jiang Jinxiu stood to the side, feeling uneasy.
She looked at him, wondering if she should apologize first, act cute, or spin around a few times to show him that nothing had happened.
I was just thinking about it.
Out of the corner of my eye, I saw the man raise his hand.
She instinctively took a step back, crossing her arms and raising them in front of her: "Don't hit me, I know I was wrong."
Gu Xichen's hand froze in mid-air, his lips pursed as he looked at her: "Why are you here?"
"I, I, I..." Jiang Jinxiu stammered for a long time but couldn't get a coherent answer.
Gu Xichen stared intently at her.
Watching her lips purse little by little, it was as if they could hold a soy sauce bottle.
"Meow meow meow..." Master, male master...
Orange's shout broke the stalemate between the two.
Gu Xichen looked in the direction of Chengzi's cry and saw the woman lying on the ground.
Jiang Jinxiu quickly explained, "This is someone Chengzi and I just rescued."
She told the man everything that had happened, including the information Orange had gathered.
After hearing this, the man's expression turned serious. He pulled her close and checked her over thoroughly. Only after confirming that she was not injured did his expression soften.
He was angry, but more than that, he was worried about her safety.
He held her tightly in his arms, gritting his teeth as he said, "Jiang Jinxiu, do you know how dangerous it is here?"
He called Jiang Jinxiu by her full name, his voice filled with fear and apprehension.
Danger lurks everywhere in the forest, especially here on the border.
His wife is incredibly brave.
Jiang Jinxiu cupped his face in her hands, kissed the corner of his mouth, and said softly and coquettishly, "I can protect myself, you don't need to worry."
She thought it was time to tell him about the man's space; anyone could potentially harm her, but he wouldn't.
Jiang Jinxiu pulled Gu Xichen into a grove of trees, opened her senses, and after confirming that no one was around, she had him grab the hand with the mark on it and led him into the space.
Gu Xichen only felt a blur before his eyes, and then he was in a different place.
Looking at the scene before him, he thought he had arrived in a paradise.
Several hills stand in the distance, and at their foot a large peach orchard is in full bloom.
There are many other fruit trees, rivers, and houses in the surrounding area.
It looked vibrant and full of life.
He looked at his wife in surprise.
That look was asking, what's going on?
"This is my bracelet space. Everything inside belongs to me, and Orange is the guardian beast of this space..."
Jiang Jinxiu told Gu Xichen about the space, the spiritual spring water, and the orange being the space's guardian beast, but she didn't mention the fact that she had been reborn.
Gu Xichen was stunned for a long time before uttering five words: "Are you an immortal?"
Jiang Jinxiu shook her head with a chuckle.
She wrapped her arms around his strong waist and rested her head against his chest: "I'm your wife, Xichen, don't be angry. Trust me, I can protect myself. Not to mention having Chengzi as my bodyguard, I can even hide in this space to save my life in a crisis."
Gu Xichen: "Wife, who else knows about this?"
Jiang Jinxiu knew what he meant: "Only you know."

He was afraid that his wife would be discovered, arrested, become a research subject, or be exploited.
A common man is innocent, but possessing a treasure is a crime.
Jiang Jinxiu comforted her, "I know, I'm only telling you. I won't tell anyone else."
Gu Xichen finally felt relieved.
Jiang Jinxiu then pulled him to the spring water outlet: "This is the water I filled for you to drink. Drink some and see if there's anything different."
Gu Xichen, without suspecting anything, drank several large gulps.

So comfortable.
