Chapter 86 Child Trap

After a night's rest, Si Muyan's asthma finally eased.

When she got up, Huo Si just ended the call.

Si Muyan opened her arms and threw herself into his arms. She put her arms around his waist and said coquettishly, "Good morning, husband."

He pinched her cheek, his eyes full of doting: "You look better today. The laboratory just said that it will take at least a month before it can be put into use."

"Yeah, don't worry. In fact, my condition is much better now than before. Don't you think the probability of me getting sick is also much lower?" Si Muyan winked playfully.

"I took good care of her." Huo Si answered proudly.

Si Muyan's eyes curved: "Yes, yes, Brother Si is my angel, I love you so much."

"If you can speak, please speak more." Huo Si was in a good mood.

Si Muyan rubbed against her arms coquettishly, with a happy smile in her eyes.

Suddenly remembering something, Huo Si frowned slightly: "Baby, I have to go on a business trip for two days. You stay at home and be good. If there is anything urgent, remember to contact mom first."

There was a problem at the branch office, and he needed to deal with it personally. Si Muyan was at home, and if something happened and he couldn't get back immediately, having Lin Yatong come was the best way.

"I know. I just go between these two places every day. It's very safe." Si Muyan said with a smile.

"That's good." Huo Si bent down and kissed her forehead, then took her hand and walked towards the bathroom.

When she arrived at the hospital, Si Muyan immediately changed her clothes and put on a white coat.

Since the teacher had not arrived yet and there was still some time before the ward rounds, Si Muyan chatted with her colleagues.

"Today is the day for salary payment. Should we have a dinner together in our department?" Dr. Lin, who is in charge of the atmosphere group of the Internal Medicine Department, asked enthusiastically.

"Okay, we haven't been together for two months." Another doctor agreed.

"Will you join us, Doctor Si?" Doctor Lin suggested with a smile. "The boss's wife is coming to our department for an internship, so we should show some sincerity, right?"

“Yes, yes.”

Hearing this, Si Muyan smiled and said, "Don't be so polite. How about this, I'll treat everyone to dinner."

When her colleagues heard that she was going to treat them, they became even more enthusiastic and nodded in agreement.

So everyone agreed to have dinner together after get off work.

Si Muyan seldom attends gatherings with colleagues. Thinking that Huo Si was not at home, she happily joined everyone for dinner and fun.

Doctors are serious when they are at work and active and relaxed when they are off work.

Everyone ate and drank together until eight o'clock. Si Muyan didn't drink any alcohol during the whole process because she was not feeling well. She just held the juice and watched everyone having fun.

The show ended at 7:30 and Si Muyan walked towards the parking space in a happy mood.

The night in Shangjing is lively, and since it is a bustling area, it is difficult to park the car. Si Muyan parked the car in a parking lot a few hundred meters away.

As we were walking, we suddenly heard the cry of a child.

Si Muyan stopped curiously and saw a girl squatting on the ground crying sadly.

Seeing this, Si Muyan walked forward, squatted down and asked, "Little boy, what's wrong with you?"

A little girl, about five or six years old, raised her head, her eyes red and tears streaming down her face: "I'm lost and can't find my mother, wuwuwu..."

Seeing the little girl crying sadly, Si Muyan quickly took out a tissue from her bag and wiped her tears: "Don't cry, little girl, I will help you find your mother, okay? Do you know your mother's phone number?"

The little girl sobbed and shook her head, tears still rolling down her cheeks: "No, I don't know..."

Hearing this, Si Muyan looked at the passers-by around her, a look of worry between her brows: "Then I will take you to see the police uncle, okay?"

"No, I can't. Mom said that some bad guys would pretend to be police officers and arrest children. I'm scared..." The little girl squatted down in fear and hugged herself even tighter.

Seeing this, Si Muyan didn't know what to do.

Suddenly, the little girl seemed to remember something. She sniffed and pointed her index finger forward: "Sister, my home is over there. I remember it's just past this row of houses. Sister, can you take me home?"

Si Muyan looked in the direction of her finger and saw a row of busy shops.

Looking at that innocent face, Si Muyan finally nodded in agreement.

The little girl held Si Muyan's hand and wiped away her tears: "Thank you, sister."

Si Muyan smiled slightly and was led forward by the little girl.

After walking for about ten minutes, Si Muyan saw that the surroundings were not as lively as before.

"Are the kids coming soon?" Si Muyan asked.

The little girl stopped and looked around, as if searching for something to remember: "Hmm... Come on, come on, I recognize those two words."

Following her gaze, I saw a restaurant called Broken Shop.

"Let's go." Si Muyan continued to move forward.

After walking for another five minutes, Si Muyan noticed that the little girl seemed to be leading her into the alley.

Seeing this, Si Muyan suddenly became alarmed and stopped.

"Wait a minute, kid. How about I call the police first? Maybe your parents can't find you and have already called the police."

Si Muyan said as she took out her cell phone and prepared to dial 110. Just as she pressed the number keys, the phone was suddenly snatched away.

Si Muyan was startled and just as she was about to look up, she saw a sack being put down over her head.

"Ah!! Help!" Si Muyan screamed in fear.

The two men quickly picked up Si Muyan and ran quickly towards the van parked not far away.

“Hurry, go!!”

Amid the man's urging, Si Muyan heard the sound of the car starting.

In the dark environment, Si Muyan's heart was in her throat and a sense of fear arose spontaneously.
