Chapter 168 You Didn’t Receive the Love Letter I Wrote to You

Four people got off the car.

Sitting on the thick grass, feeling the playful spring breeze and basking in the warm but not scorching sun.

The sky is blue, the sun is shining, and the white clouds are slowly drifting away from overhead, as if you can reach out and catch them.

In the distance are layers of mountains. There are still mountains after mountains, and it feels like being trapped inside forever.

This is the place that people in the mountains are desperately trying to get out of. It's the kind of feeling that after climbing over one mountain after another, they can never see hope, as if there is no world outside the mountains. The world outside the mountains is still mountains.

"It's really high here, and I don't see anyone living here. How could there be a road?" Chen Man asked in confusion as she sat cross-legged.

Xu Junyang: "This area is vast. If you walk along the road, you will find several villages far inside."

Chen Man was surprised, "Ah? There are people living here?"

Isn't this too isolated from the world?

"Yes, there is. The road that connected these villages to the outside world in the past was the one we just came up. In the beginning, there was no road, so we had to climb up the mountain, which was very tiring. Now they have opened up a more convenient road from the other side, but this side is still preserved."

Chen Man was curious, "You've been here a long time ago?"

Xu Junyang leaned back with his arms, gazing leisurely into the distance, "When I was little, I used to come up here to drink. When a daughter from the village married here and gave birth, I would treat her to a drink."

"You've all been here?" Chen Man looked at Leng Leng.

Leng Leng: "When we were little, we would climb this mountain on our spring outings. The students would rush ahead with brisk steps, while the teachers would shout at the back, breathless and exhausted, but even at the top of their lungs, it was no use."

Chen Man was so envious. "When we were kids, we would go to parks during spring outings. The ground in the park was trampled to pieces. This place is really great. It looks like it's never been discovered by anyone."

Xu Junyang: "This is the key development site for my tourism project. Along this road, you can see a large lake where construction is already underway."

Chen Man:·········

Bad people destroy the beauty of nature.

"In fact, every year many locals come here to see the sea of flowers, the mountains, camp, have picnics, go on dates, and watch the snow. There is a lot of snow here every year."

Chen Man:...

"Why didn't I see any snow last year?"

"I'll bring you to see it at the end of the year." Xu Junyang looked at her with a smile.

Chen Man smiled and said, "Okay."

He stretched his legs forward, fell on the grass, squinted his eyes and enjoyed it, reached out and grabbed a strawberry and put it in his mouth.

Days like this are so nice, with friends, men, bright spring sunshine, and plenty of time.

Seeing her lying down, Xu Junyang also lay down beside her, put his hand under her head, and let her rest her head on his arm.

Xu Xingzhi saw the two of them lying down as if no one was around, and pulled Leng Leng up.

Leng Leng was silently led to his feet.

The two of them changed places and sat down.

Chen Man glanced at the two people walking away, but didn't call out, letting them be alone in their own world.

Chen Man's hand continued to move to the side, and she touched a strawberry and stuffed it into Xu Junyang's mouth.

I touched another one for myself.

Xu Junyang clasped his hands on her back and exerted force, causing Chen Man to roll onto him.

Chen Man lay on top of him, and Xu Junyang held her and sighed, "Spring is as strong as wine, it's better to be drunk than to be sober."

"If I had known you would buy two bottles of beer instead of mineral water." Chen Man found a comfortable position in his arms and lay down.

"We still have to drive back. If we're camping, we can bring some wine up."

Chen Man sighed, "What a shame. Can we go camping next time, Brother Yang?"

"good."

The sun was warming my back, and I had drunk some wine. Although the alcohol had dissipated a lot, it still made me feel drunk.

Chen Man squinted her eyes in his arms and slowly closed them.

Xu Xingzhi pressed down Leng Leng's shoulders and sat down next to her.

"Still dizzy?"

Leng Leng shook his head, "I feel a little dazed."

"Spring scenery and intoxicating beauties." Xu Xingzhi looked at her and smiled, "They are both by my side."

Leng Leng: "Sour."

"Leng Leng, you really don't understand romance at all."

Leng Leng pretended to get up, but Xu Xingzhi grabbed her and said, "Don't run around. Sit still."

The two of them looked ahead quietly, and Xu Xingzhi slowly turned around to look at her profile.

Leng Leng caught a glimpse of him out of the corner of his eye and continued to watch the clouds rolling and unrolling in front of him.

Xu Xingzhi looked at her silently for a long time. He saw her youthful appearance in her much more mature face, as well as the familiar feeling of her sitting quietly beside him.

"Leng Leng, why didn't you reply to my letter?"

Leng Leng turned his head to look at him and asked calmly, "What letter?"

Xu Xingzhi: "I only wrote you one letter in total, what do you think?"

Leng Leng was inexplicable. "You didn't write to me."

"have."

“I didn’t receive it anyway.”

After being speechless for a while, Xu Xingzhi suddenly laughed.

Just say why there is no response.

"why are you laughing?"

Xu Xingzhi shook his head and looked ahead quietly. After a long time, he turned his head again, as if relieved and mustering up courage.

"Leng Leng, when I graduated from junior high school, I wrote you a love letter."

Leng Leng opened his eyes wide in surprise, "What?"

Xu Xingzhi: ········

What a rustic woman!

Suddenly I hate dialects.

Leng Leng grabbed him and asked, "Is this true? I didn't receive it. Who did you ask to give it to me? That person didn't give it to me."

Xu Xingzhi: "I didn't give it to anyone. I gave it to you myself."

“I didn’t receive it!”

Xu Xingzhi found it amusing to see that she became excited upon hearing the love letter.

"I really gave it to you, but it's obvious that you haven't discovered it yet."

Leng Leng hurriedly asked, "Where is it? Is it tucked into my book?"

How could Xu Xingzhi possibly tell her, "Don't tell."

"Go ahead."

"No."

"Hey, tell me." She moved closer to Xu Xingzhi.

Xu Xingzhi turned sideways with a resolute attitude. "I would never tell you this even if I killed you. I'm only taking out a love letter from hundreds of years ago now. If I read it once, my life would be ten years shorter."

Leng Leng chuckled, "Forget it, I'll go back and look for it myself."

Xu Xingzhi paused, seeming to want to say something but stopped himself, staring quietly ahead.

Leng Leng looked at his profile, moved forward and leaned on his shoulder.

Xu Xingzhi froze and looked down at her in disbelief.

Is she still so proactive?

Leng Leng looked up at him, met his shocked gaze, and smiled slightly.

When she doesn't smile, no one should get close to her.

But she is very sweet when she smiles.
