After boarding the bus bound for town, it didn't leave for a long time. There were only a few people in the stuffy and smelly bus.

The bus started slowly.

Chen Man walked up to the counter of a middle-aged man and asked after a moment of hesitation.
"Hello, I'd like to ask if any staff here would like to go back to Jade Village after get off work? I'm from out of town and don't know the way. There are no regular buses now, so I want to..."
The middle-aged man behind the counter slowly raised his head and listened to her calmly, but before she could finish, he shouted outside, "Secretary Li! Hey, Secretary Li!"
Chen Man glanced over and saw a middle-aged man in a white short-sleeved shirt stop and look inside with a smile. "What are you doing, Director Wang?"
"Come on, there's a beautiful lady here who needs your help!"
Secretary Li walked in and looked at Chen Man strangely.
"What do you want me to do?"
Director Wang smiled and said to Secretary Li, "This beautiful lady is from out of town and is going to your Jade Village."
He looked at Chen Man again, "Right? This is the village secretary of Yuren Village, talk to him."
Chen Man quickly greeted him warmly, "Oh, Secretary Li, hello! I just came from out of town to visit my grandmother. But I don't have a car right now, so I thought I'd trouble the government staff for a favor. I didn't expect you to be here."
Secretary Li was enthusiastic and cheerful, waving his hand, "That's perfect, let's go, the car is parked outside, we can go back together."
Then he said to Director Wang, "Then I'm leaving, Director Wang."

Chen Man turned around and smiled at Director Wang, thanking him: "Thank you, Director Wang."
Secretary Li helped put the suitcases in the trunk, but only the smaller one could fit, and the other one was put on the back seat.
Chen Man sat in the passenger seat, looking at the road from the town to the village. There were dense residential areas on both sides at first, but gradually they became more and more sparse.
Mountains and rivers surround the county town, and a river meanders between the two mountains.
