After dinner, Chen Man slowly cleaned up the kitchen. Since they had to eat early, it was only a little after five o'clock.
Then she placed all the snacks and fruits on the table next to the fireplace using a fruit plate, and Chen Man helped her grandmother sit on the sofa.
"Grandma, you watch TV for a while. I'll take a quick shower first. I've been cooking in the kitchen today and I smell a lot of cooking fumes. I'll get you some water to soak your feet later."
Chen Man peeled an orange for her grandmother and handed it to her, then bent down and talked to her with a smile.
Grandma happily took it and said, "Okay, wait a minute, help me wipe my body too. I just washed it yesterday, so just wipe it today."
"Okay, then wait for me."
Chen Man went upstairs to get a set of clean clothes, took a quick shower and blew her hair dry.
The whole person looks like a fairy who is detached from the world, clean and refreshing.
After cleaning myself up, I pushed my grandmother to the bathroom to wash up briefly.
"When your mother was little, I washed her. Later, when she gave birth to you, I washed you again. Now it's finally your turn to wash me, haha." Grandma had a nostalgic smile on her face.
"Grandma, I don't have any grandparents. Were you the one who took care of my mom when she was in confinement?"
"That's right. I don't care about her, so who cares about her? Oh, I should have persuaded your mother to have another child, so that you wouldn't be so lonely now. Oh, once I'm gone, you'll really be alone."
Grandma sighed helplessly.
Chen Man wiped it gently and said coquettishly, "That's right, that's why grandma must live a long life. I'm too pitiful to be alone."
Grandma didn't smile or answer, she just sighed softly.
