Without giving Chen Man a chance to speak, the call was hung up.
Xu Junyang got up from the sofa and the person next to him called him.
"Where are you going? Let's have dinner together, Brother Yang."
Xu Junyang said without turning his head: "I'm busy. I have something to do."
The man stretched his neck and shouted, "Brother Yang, take whichever one you want and let's eat together. We're all acquaintances and brothers."
In response to him, Xu Junyang strode forward without hesitation.
Chen Man couldn't stand the temperature outside, so she went into the supermarket and bought two bottles of cold soda water.
She looked at the ice cream in the freezer next to her and was so greedy, but she couldn't buy any of it because it would melt if she did.
I was waiting at the door drinking water, and within a few minutes, I saw the black Mercedes-Benz drive over and stop at the entrance of the supermarket.
Chen Man quickly put the cap on the bottle.
"Did you buy all those?"
Xu Junyang pointed to a row of shopping bags outside the supermarket.
"Yeah, haha, I bought a bit too much."
Xu Junyang didn't reply, walked up the stairs, picked up two shopping bags in each hand, and went to the trunk.
Chen Man hurried to get the milk, and as soon as she turned around, the thing in her hand was taken away.
"Take the light one."
Chen Man looked at his back, pursed her lips, and went to pick up the bucket. The bucket was full of snacks and was very light.
After finally putting all the things in the car, Xu Junyang got in, but Chen Man did not come up.
Chen Man walked to the driver's window of his car. Xu Junyang lowered the window and she handed him the water. "Drink some water."
Xu Junyang glanced at her, took the water, unscrewed the cap and took a big sip.
Chen Man watched his Adam's apple rolling up and down as he swallowed water, and quickly turned away her eyes.
She pointed to the motorcycle in front of the Mercedes and said, "I just bought a motorcycle and I have to ride it back."
Xu Junyang took a look at the car, tapped his slender fingers on the steering wheel, and then said, "Do you have a driver's license?"
Chen Man was puzzled for a second, then replied, "Yes, I took the test when I was in college, but I put it away after the test. It's been a few years now. I've long forgotten how to open it."
Xu Junyang nodded in understanding, "Well, let's go ride a bike. Do you know the way?"
"I know him. It's just that this part of town is a little confusing."
"Then follow my car."
Chen Man ran to her car with a smile and got in. The seat was a little hot on her butt, but fortunately there was a sunshade to block it.
The Mercedes was driving very slowly, so Chen Man could easily keep up on her bike. After leaving the densely populated town, the roads became more open, and the car drove a little faster.
Xu Junyang did not park the car back in his own yard, but drove directly into Chen Man's grandmother's house.
Chen Man parked the car under the eaves. Although there was a canopy, it was still inevitably exposed to the sun. Chen Man thought that she must buy a sun-protective jacket that reached her ankles.
Xu Junyang came down and started to put things down without saying a word. Chen Man stepped forward to help.
After everything was done and unloaded, Chen Man smiled and thanked him, "Thank you for your hard work."
"It's okay." He turned around and prepared to get in the car.
"Hey, wait a minute." Chen Man opened her bag, took out the cigarette, and handed it to him with a smile, "This is for you."
Xu Junyang looked at what she was holding and then at her smiling face. After a while, he took it and said, "Thank you."
Chen Man watched him drive out before she started packing her things.
